Hurricane Irma gave Secure Restoration another chance to shine. This is the second time I've called them to mitigate water damage to my condo. They do good work. Friendly and professional, they arrived quickly and placed the industrial fan and dehumidifier. The only snag came when they required payment of my hurricane deductible upfront. Not a problem, except they did not believe the amount of my deductible, even when I showed the workers the policy. It clearly stated the amount was $200, but the office worker said the policy was incorrect and wanted $1000! I took a picture of the declaration page and texted it to the office. Even then they still did not accept it. This aggravated me as they would not begin work until I paid. They refused to accept the $200 amount until I got the insurance rep on the phone with their office worker. Then all was fine and they completed set up. Aside from this poor aspect of customer service, everything was done well.

I have a couple of issues. One, the brick on my island in the kitchen should have been removed. The plywood has mold and is going to have to be removed to remediate. Your people said you wouldn't have to remove tile or bath tub in the master bedroom but my repair crew broke out the brick on the outside of my home from the bath tub to the shower and found wet plywood and wet insulation. Finally, I have commented on your price and some feel it is high. By comparison, my neighbor who didn't have insurance, was charged considerably less than me for your service.
