Today we completed a complete service and a termite bait installation. We went around the house knocked on cobwebs and spiderwebs. Treated the exterior of your home with a liquid residual to help prevent ants in general seasonal pests. No termite activity was detected in the basement. We placed one above ground termite bait station where the swarm came from in the backyard and the patio between the crack of the back of the house and the patio. We installed termite bait in the ground around the shed, the detached garage, and around the home. Good afternoon I completed your initial service today. I started by inspecting the front porch area for yellow jackets. You pointed out the gap that they are crawling into and I treated this area with a liquid residual to hopefully knock down their numbers. I then inspected the living room and kitchen area areas for ants. I found a bunch of ants at the front windowsill and I placed ant gel here to help with the problem, as well as an ant bait station. At the back sliding door, there are a lot of dead ants, I still placed ant gel in the door track. I treated these areas with a liquid residual for ants and other general pests. I placed out 2 ant gel baited arenas in the kitchen counter. Treatment can take 2 or more weeks to control an existing ant population. We use non-repellent insect controls for ants, which will not prevent ants, therefore requires contact and will address the colony.
