Sorry we missed you today! Today I applied a liquid residual around the perimeter of the home focusing on the foundation line and thresholds. This will aid in the prevention and elimination of ants and various crawling insects that may try to enter the structure. I made sure to avoid any personal items as well as any flowering plants and edibles. I checked any exterior rodent bait stations around the perimeter of the home. Heavy feeding observed. Replaced bait accordingly. I inspected for any possible entry points. No recommendations at this time. Lastly, I removed any visible/reachable spider webs around the home. Good morning. Today I treated a yellow jacket hive in the front of your home. I applied a residual liquid treatment. Please allow 2-3 days for treatment to take full effect.
Good afternoon Julia this is CJ and I provided a one time stinging insect service You pointed out a large yellow jacket nest behind the soffit above the deck. I gently lifted the soffit to expose more of the entrance into the nest. I heavily treated in and around this area with a slow acting low toxicity pesticide . As I explained, it should take about three days to see the amount of yellow jackets in the nest decrease. But if you see any activity on the fifth day (or any day after) give us a call back to retreat the area.
Good afternoon this is CJ and I provided your initial service today. Inspecting the outside I did notice heavy small ant activity, climbing up and down both trees in front of the home, but not nearly as heavy as you noticed yesterday. With no apparent and until to treat, I dropped granular bait at the base of these trees to cut down the population around the home. There was light small ant activity on every side of the home. But it seemed most active on the back patio, where I placed granular and gel bait around more active ant trails Inspected the inside for termite damage and based on the unfinished areas of the basement, there were none. I noticed spider activity in the corner with the sub pump. If our exterior treatment does not cut down on this activity and it continues to increase, and interior service may be needed.
