Chance and I had a great experience since we started going to training at Carolina Ranch. When Chance was a puppy, I took him to another place that was about $30.00 cheaper, but he did not learn at all. Chance is a very special dog with a energetic and strong personality. His first successes happened after having private lessons with Adam Bush. Chance became a much better dog and I a much better owner. He still has his strong personality but he chooses better behavior and we are both much happier. We have just finished our first group class, the Canine Good Citizen class. It is thanks to Carolina Ranch Trainers that Chance received his certificate. Sweet crazy Chance was always treated with love and respect in all of his training experiences at the Ranch. Chance and I definitely love the Carolina Ranch staff!! Thank you all for leading us to success!! We are looking forward to starting our new class!
In a few weeks, Adam was able to train our dog in ways we honestly didn't think would be possible. We are both happy and relieved at the behavior she is now exhibiting. She is so much easier to enjoy now, and seems to have grown up out of her bratty attitude and into a more mature and loyal friend.
Diane did an amazing job teaching our training class with Odin, our Great Bernese! The Facility is awesome and everyone was super nice! Great price for training and very satisfied with our results!
Not only was Adam great with his interaction with Misty, but was more them patient with me while he taught me how to interact with Misty.
This class was lots of fun and a great learning experience! Adam and Diane were both extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring that all participants were successful. We received detailed training instruction both verbally and written along with one-on-one assistance as needed. I'm very happy with the huge improvement in my dogs demeanor. We will definitely continue on with more classes!
puppy was just too young - will try again in ~6 months after she has hopefully calmed down a bit
Lynn was great, patient and full of positive reinforcement.. She went above and beyond to make sure all dogs and handlers worked well in class. Molly waits at the door on Saturdays to see Lynn
Adam taught my lab mix confidence. Training on the climb has given her a safe place where she has control. This translates to a less fearful dog. She now makes non aggressive choices when encountering other dogs as well as new people and situations! After the session ended at Carolina Ranch, Adam came to my house to check on her progress and address questions. Amanda had also helped tremendously with introducing a new dog into my two dog pack. Her insight into dog behavior has been incredibly valuable. Her hands on style was vital for ensuring a successful outcome. Without question, Carolina Ranch offers the best in dog training. I would not consider going anywhere else.
Adam is extremely patient with our challenging pup. He is constantly working on new ways to keep her motivated.
Roman stayed at the Ranch for 2 and a half weeks and did their stay and train program with Adam. Adam basically is like the dog whisperer. Our dog pretty much just got on board and began listening to Adam right away in the consultation. He was a 4 1/2 month old puppy at the time and we definitely returned to a dog with a good foundation more self control which helps everywhere with a puppy.
Adam is an amazing dog trainer! The title "master trainer" describes him perfectly. He is efficient, gentle and caring with my dog, and gets wonderful results. All the staff that I have dealt with have been very friendly and helpful. I could not be more pleased.
I adopted Norman 9 months ago. He is now 1.5 years old and 94 lbs. We were professionally trained and he has the basics down. Having recently moving here, I needed help, as something was missing. Norman tends to be "punk" and does not always pay attention to me, especially on leash with distractions. After one session with Adam, I saw the difference. When Adam modeled the techniques with Norman, he was the dog I knew he had the potential to be. I will be practicing what we BOTH learned, and returning for more lessons.
Very glad we signed our Great Dane up for the Group Obedience. Adam clearly took the time to be familiar with all the dogs that signed up before they even arrived for the first session. He demonstrated wonderfully how to handle our dogs, and gave reference material to help us thru the week. This class helped Horace, but more so it's helped me learn how to handle him to get great results.
Clarence is a real character and got a lot accomplished during his training stay. I miss you already buddy. Adam
This big handsome Shepherd completed his Stay & Learn training on Monday. Way to go Thor!
Sophie made a ton of progress in just one week of obedience training. She graduated Monday night!
Chance and Ana have worked so hard. Chance is now a Canine Good Citizen! We are so proud of you guys.
Willow graduated from her enrollment in our Stay & Learn obedience program yesterday. The big girl came a long ways and we are proud of her.
Izak an accomplished Whippet passed the Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors. He has a great bond with his owner and did very well.
Congratulations Apollo! This handsome fella passed the Canine Good Citizen test on his first try. Way to go team Apollo.
Odin graduated group class last night. Next up is the CGC test. You can do it big guy.
Apollo graduated from our Group Obedience class led by Diane last night. Great job Team Apollo.
Teddy completed a week and a half of Stay & Learn training. He graduated yesterday and returned home as happy as ever while knowing some new things.
Ollie recently attended Carolina Ranch Dog Training's AKC STAR Puppy Class.
Misty did well in her go-home lesson yesterday. She had been working with our trainer Adam, in our day training program. She gets some obedience training in the morning and gets to play in doggie daycare throughout the afternoon. That makes for a well trained, social and tired pup.
Hunter graduated our group obedience class last night. In addition to graduating he took and passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test on his first try. Way to go team Hunter!
Annie is enjoying helping handlers of all ages learn how to better train and handle their dogs.
