I'm doing a water heater flush to remove sediment buildup for a client in Chatsworth. I began by turning off the power and water supply to the unit. I then connected a hose to the drain valve and emptied the tank. After draining, I flushed the tank with fresh water to clear out the sediment that had accumulated over time. Once the water ran clear, I refilled the tank, restored the power, and checked the system for proper operation. The water heater is now running more efficiently.
