Came out to the customer’s home for an emergency plumbing repair after discovering a ruptured CPVC water line. Isolated the water supply, removed the damaged CPVC pipe, and installed new piping to restore proper water flow. Tested the repair to ensure there were no leaks and the system was operating correctly. Customer’s water service was fully restored and secured.
Re-lit pilot light on gas appliance. Verified proper ignition and operation after firing. Monitored system to ensure the pilot remained lit and unit was functioning correctly before leaving the job site.
Arrived at the customer’s home to inspect a ruptured CPVC water line that was causing active water damage and loss of water pressure. Performed a full evaluation of the affected plumbing, identified the failed CPVC section, and discussed the risks of continued use due to age and brittleness of the pipe. Provided the homeowner with a detailed quote to repair and replace the damaged CPVC water line, including proper fittings and secure connections to restore safe, reliable water flow. Recommended upgrading the failed section to a more durable piping material to help prevent future leaks and water damage.
