Replaced a broken shut off valve after meter
Customer had multiple points to inspect. Had questions regarding winterization of two yard hydrants and a hose bib in a meter box. Found the isolation valve in the yard and turned off for the customer. Customer had questions regarding slow hot water in the house. Customer has a Rinnai tankless unit in basement. Advised customer that first step always for tankless is flushing the unit annually. This can help with the water heating faster but isn’t guaranteed. If there isn’t a notable difference can give the customer price to run a dedicated recirculation pump for the main points they want heated quicker. Customer also had questions regarding gas work for the fireplace in the living room. There is a turn key stop that isn’t allowing gas to flow when turned on. Advised customer, and gave diagnostic price, to open ceiling below and trace the gas line back to see if there’s a shutoff that is turned off. Advised customer that this may have been done because of a leak. Price included checking
