Alex installed a brand new model 17 hose bib. The old hose bib that had a damaged handle and stem was removed and replaced with a brand new professional grade hose bib. Work was performed and the water was turned back on once the new hose bib was installed. It was explained to Mark that the silicone used on the new hose bib goes on white and dries clear overtime. Everything was shown to Mark and he is satisfied with the work done today! Thank you for using Spartan plumbing for your home needs !

Braden came out to do finish the inspection process with Warren county health. The water test was done and we will get final results in about a week. Our inspection for the system is passed. RINA the inspected let us know she would follow up with what we needed as far as paper work. We also let Tracy know that we do salt deliveries so we got her on the schedule for a salt delivery tomorrow 2/16/23. This service is prepaid.

Customer showed me to the back bathroom am I found a very old star 110 jet pump that was not working an found that there was no power to it after resetting the breaker found that the pump was not building pressure customer also wanted to know about a new toilet an a new vanity I called dispatch an asked to have Braden come out with me an walk thru this job. Braden came out and accessed the situation at hand. We found that the pump is leaking and needs replaced. We found the well supply lines to be located outside. These water lines need to be buried underground to prevent freezing. We gave several option for quick repairs. We are going to quote to update the current well system and drill new. Dave let us know that he would talk with his board members on the decision.

Return to address issue with installed water conditioning system Britney stated at 10 PM she noticed brine tank halfway filled with water and was concerned made phone calls to our office to have one of our technicians come out upon arrival found brine tank empty scrolled through water softening settings and contacted tech-support line they confirmed that this unit will fill up the brine tank four hours before regeneration at 2 AM to allow for saturation of Brine water. Verified no error codes on unit with tech-support all is working as it should and replenished brine tank with two bags of owner supplied salt Britney was concerned about water test results and assured her they were in process and should be back by sometime next week.

Braden came out and looked at the project for Greg and Margie. They are interested in getting the bathroom remolded. Margie is wanting to have a walk in shower with tile walls. They would look all new fixtures such as a toilet, vanity cabinet with sink bowl, light fixture, fan, baseboards, trim, forced air register, and the shower with a sliding door. We looked at their plumbing in the crawl space for the drains and water. We found the sewer lateral fitting to be installed installed backwards. We found the copper drain lines to be failing. All of the copper water lines in the crawl space have several signs of pinhole leaks and active pinhole leaks. We would highly recommend to install new water lines to the home as well. Also a water softener for the home was mentioned that we highly recommend. The stack vent for the bathroom was installed through a floor joist. This has caused structural damage to the subfloor and the load of the house. We would have to replace the two damaged floor j

Braden and Taylor came out in order to restore water needs back to Jim’s house. Jim was gone in Florida so we communicated through phone. We found some improper wiring so we recommend to trouble shoot that first. We eventually found out that the pump had failed. Due to the home being on geothermal and using a lot of water we recommend a variable speed drive system to his well. Jim agreed to have this system installed to better his high water usage experience at his home. We finished all work same day. Jim let us know to bill him like usual. We met the cleaner Michelle, so she could lock up. We let Jim know that we chlorinated his well system to pr3vent any containments. We bled the water lines out for 30 min. We recommend to run the water in 30 min intervals until the chlorine smell is not present in the water anymore before regular house hold use or consumption. We came out to George and Karen’s for an annual membership inspection. Upon inspection, we noticed the utility sink was leaking from the utility tubular section of the drain. Over all plumbing system looks good. Some minor issues may need addressing in the near future (front hose bib leak at handle, and utility sink faucet has drip when handle is not securely tightened). Main overall issue would be updating old gate isolation valves. Karen expressed that dishwasher is not draining properly. After a closer look, drain tubing is hung with a high loop, and sink is draining properly. Most likely appliance fail. Dishwasher shut off is original gate valve and supply line is 3/8” copper. Recommended o Karen having us do install of new dishwasher when dishwasher is purchased. Matt and Trenton located the leak on the drain pipe for utility sink during the annual inspection. We brought this to Karen’s attention and she decided to let us go forward with replacing the drain pipe on the utility si

Pull and reset loose toilet in hall bathroom to verify Flange is not broken and reinstall with new wax ring and mounting bolts. Drain and disconnect water heater to allow access to magnesium anode rod replace with new to prevent sulfur smell in water. No other issues today while on site. Customer has requested diagnostics for well system. Well system is operating on a 30/50 psi switch. Remove and install new pressure gauge on well system. After installing new pressure gauge, we ran water at both hose bibs and utility sink. Creating a call for large demand of water. Pump was able to handle demand, and satisfy switch in seconds. This is a sign of a very healthy and efficient pump. Ohms test. Thus will determine wether our electrical current is having any resistance traveling through motor/windings. We would like to see resistance at 3 ohms or less. Ohms reading is at 2.2. Very healthy. Amps test. We want to test amps to check efficiency, and to make sure our motor is not working too hard to operate. We would like to see amp draw no higher than 6. Amps reading tops out at 1. Motor seems to be fully operational, and efficient.

Give me a ride to Jonathan‘s home for a callback on a kitchen sink drain clog. Jamie perform a thorough valuation of the plumbing for the kitchen sink informed John that the shut off valves, copper lines, and leaking at one point Jamie gave multiple options to resolve Jonathan‘s drain and the pipe issues Jonathan went with option C replace copper and shut off valves under kitchen sink with a free drain cleaning. Jamie cotton removed old worn out copper and shut off valves from under kitchen sink replaced with new pro press and compression valves. When Jamie turn the water back on Jamie notice that there is a clean out for the kitchen sink drain in the basement Jamie use K 45 with a rag on the end of it to clear drain of any obstructions. Jamie ran kitchen sink drain approximately 25 feet multiple times when Jamie remove K 45 cable from drain Jimmy noticed that the drain had chunks of sludge and grease buildup in it. Jamie recommended to John that the next step to cleaning drain thoroug
