Spartan plumbing was called out by Amy the homeowner to evaluate a couple issues in the home. Currently this home is in the process of being sold and the buyers had an inspector do an inspection on the home. Toby the technician evaluated the issues listed by the inspector. Inspector has listed a couple issues includes two toilets that seem to be loose at the base. Another issue listed is the master bathroom shower escutcheon is not stationary. Last issue is the hose spigot in the back yard does not work as it should. Toby evaluated said issues in the home and provided options. 3-3-23 technician Toby replaced the outside hose spigot. Once replaced Toby check for leaks. No leaks found at this time. Toby also evaluated both upstairs toilets. Both toilets are functioning as should. Toby tightened both toilets bolts to ensure no wobble or leaks in the future. Once toilets were tightened Toby used a sealant on master bathroom shower head escutcheon. Mr. Kinsler contact Spartan plumbing in regards to a leaking water heater evaluation of the unit found water leak from a 2019 Bradford white electric 50 gallon water heater. While on site client was trying to contact original installer for replacement but did not have any availability till Sunday evening provided Mr. Kinsler with options and financing for a new water heater Mr. Kinsler chose to move forward with a one-year warranty on a 40 gallon electric water heater in order for it to fit properly within a safety drip pan in the mechanical room closet. A thermal expansion tank was included with today’s install due to water meter having a check valve. Jamie arrived at Kenny’s for a leak under sink. Kenny told Jamie that the was a leak after the freeze storm and thinks a pipe is break. After thorough evaluation Jamie determined that all the slip nut under sink were loose Jamie gave multiple options to fix leaking under sink. Old showerhead was over tightened and split replaced with new showerhead.
Tech found that toilet supply line was leaking. Gave estimates to fix. No work done at this time.
Customer saw some dampness around the toilet. With previous work done in the area he was told the toilet was bumped. Pulled toilet and installed a new wax ring . After install I flushed toilet several times and no leaks. This was call back and no charge for service..
Attempt to find the area of the leak. This includes to use an inferred camera that will show signs of heat underground. Will get an idea where about the slab leak is. Does not include any advanced leak locating services. Does not include any repairs. This option includes to start chipping up the floor under the kitchen sink. Includes removing the under the sink panel. Does not guarantee of the condition of the panel for under the sink. Includes repairing the line. Will be installing approved fittings for underground repairs. Will be installing soft k copper. Includes concrete work on the floor. Only will cover one slab leak, not multiple leaks on the line. This option does not include pulling cabinets or touching any of the finished floors. 1 year warranty on the repair. No warranty on any other piping. Found master upstairs toilet to be running. Recommend to do complete rebuild on the toilet. Customer opted to not repair the toilet. Found no other slab leaks. Repaired leak under slab
Opened bottom of cabinet and found a hot and cold pipes going into the slab. Using the thermal reader I could not verify the leak. I gave a 60% chance the leak was under the sink. Otherwise a leak detection agency would need to be called. WO approved waiving the charge.
Scheduled work to repair a leaking water line under the slab.
Installed new 18†AO Smith 40 gallon tall in closet with new dirt leg, expansion tank and ball valve. Had to remove door frame in order to remove old water heater and install new one. We are not responsible for finish work with door frame. Re installed frame and door.
Estimate to replace 21 year old water heater. Will need new ball valve, expansion tank, new pan, and tee for dirt leg on gas line. Will need to replace portion of 4†flu and reduce to 3â€, will need 4â€x 3†reducing coupling.
Pulled and reset upstairs toilet in englewood Ohio. Toilet leaked when flushed. Floor seems to be not level. Used plaster of Paris to set toilet level instead of using shims. Toilet no longer leaking. 1 year warranty parts and labor.
Installed fridge ice maker line box in englewood Ohio. Replaced all shut offs underneath kitchen sink. Replaced water heater shut off and hard piped water heater. Installed customer supplied faucet in master bathroom. Also installed drain piping for master bathroom vanity. 1 year warranty parts and labor. No warranty on customer supplied material. Water pressure is 80 PSI.
Replaced washer valves hot and cold side. Cut open wall. Left wall for drywallers to patch back.
