Technicians Mike and Ashley responded to a call concerning discoloration in the ceiling of the entry way to a home. Upon arrival techs met Abhi who explained that him and his wife have lived there 4 years and the discoloration appeared within the last month. The master bathroom is right above the entryway. Right around the first of the year Abhi changed the shower head in the stand alone tile shower in the master bathroom. Abhi explained that before changing the shower head, the old shower head did not have good water pressure due to lime and calcium build up. Water would only go to the shower pan for the most part. Abhi and his wife had a water softener installed and changed out the shower head. Now water comes out covering all the enclosure in water. Abhi said the discoloration showed up after changing the shower head. Abhi then directed Mike and Ashley to the master bathroom. It is visible that the grout and caulking is aged. The drain for the shower is in the center of the pan.
