Upon testing, we found the shower head that was recently installed by the customer son in law was leaking. Leaking shower head was causing a stream of water to go behind the face plate of the tub / shower trim and finding its way to the ceiling on the bottom level of the home. While on site we also found a double union prv distributing low water pressure. Customer decided she will have her son in law attempt to reseal the shower head upstairs and only wanted us to replace the prv located in the garage to get the system back up to code. Customer stated that the kitchen sink is leaking again. Found right side basket strainer leaking out of the seal. The basket strainer does not have any of the gaskets on the bottom side and is using rubber seal instead of putty. Checked the left side basket strainer and it is in the same condition. Replaced both basket strainers so there is no more leak. Left side of sink has no ptrap. Installed ptrap and tested. Job is completed.
Customer Stated: This is a commercial site. They were having back up up issues for both toilets consistently, and were told that they needed to have the toilets upgraded with more flush power. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that these are both a Kohler flush assist toilet located in the men/women bathroom of building. I found that for todays visit they are both functioning properly with no issues, but the store managers complaint was they were constantly backing up. I let him know we can submit for new toilets, but the best route is to have the sewage drain lines hydro jetted quarterly to help fix this issue. I made him aware that this is due to not enough water being used, and the sewage line not being cleared out due to lack of water flowing in sewage line. I called PRS, and he stated he would like quote as it would take 2 days for authorization to come through. Stated.. gas leak outside and inside Tech notes.. came out today to diagnose a gas leak there is extensive gas piping that makes no sense. Need to preform pressure test to understand extent of issue. 3 people required at least. The gas line for the old chapel and new are not connected and the gas line is ran in a very confusing way We will have to do a pressure test to see if any of the lines to see if gas lines are leaking if gas line appear to be leaking And test all visible gas lines and all lines in the ceiling that are accessible To find gas leak out side and one that goes from the basement and third floor no smell on the second floor Resolution.. we need to perform a pressure test on the gas system to help locate the leak. CUSTOMER STATED : The sink is leaking on the left side when you turn the water on. TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence today for the tenants concern of a leak on the left side kitchen sink under the cabinet. After testing, I found water will leak due to the tubular extension piece not being long enough which is causing the leak. RESOLUTION : Made modifications to the left side of the kitchen drain tubular piping to ensure proper connections/seal. After making modifications, I have filled left side of sink up to properly test repairs. There are no further leaks or concern under kitchen sink at this point in time. Customer/ Tenant States: Master bathroom shower is cracking. Technician Notes: Out today to look into issue with the master bathroom shower wall cracking. Back wall farthest from the shower head. Surface cracks appear to be in the coating of the fiberglass. More than likely happened during shipping/ install. This area does not receive direct water and the crack does not go all the way through. Resolution: ResiPro could have someone look into repairing wall, we do not offer this service. This is a complimentary estimate for My Georgia Plumber to install a new tankless water heater supplied under warranty. We will install the new unit and test for full functionality. Once the job is complete we will remove the old water heater to complete the warranty exchange.
