Out tonight 8/23/24 Trevor J. and Manny Emergency after hours call for a bathroom backing up. Tenant did not mention issue with a leaking shower. Upon inspection the master bathroom on the 2nd story is backing up, shower/ tub is the lowest point in the waste system fixture wise. While walking around the outside of the home in search for a clean out we stumbled across waste coming out of the ground on the right side of the home. Home is not on sewer, it’s on septic. Determined issue is caused by a full septic tank or a bad drain field, or both. Unable to resolve this issue. We recommend calling a septic company to service the tank/ inspect drain field. Customer stated: shower head was leaking. Technician notes: upon inspection found shower arm leaking where it connects to shower riser, shower arm was barely tight and only had a small amount of tape on it. Removed existing shower arm and reinstalled with tape and dope. Ran shower for multiple minutes with no leaks appearing. Customer stated: when shower is ran in hall bath it leaks slowly in laundry room basement Tech notes: it’s dripping water at the shower gasket in the walk in shower hall bath. I built estimate to replace gasket and re puddy the drain. Resolution: after installing new gasket and re puddy the drain I tested and it is no longer leaking at this time. Customer stated: kitchen sink is clogged Technician notes: ran water in both bowls of kitchen sink and they were both stopped up, removed all water from drain with shop vac, used sewer machine through drain to clear blockage.
