CUSTOMER STATED: They are still haveing brown water coming out of the hot sides of all faucets TECHNICIAN NOTES: We found that when the hot side of the fixtures is used after a second or 2 the water turns brown for about 30s to a minute then goes clear We checked the water heater buy getting some water out of it and it was clear but when I removed the dielectric union on the cold side I found that there is a very organ colored substance on the inside of the dielectric nipple When in removed some of it I found that it is mud getting into the water heater The water meter is in the utility closet and there is no external shut off to the home so we could not isolate if there is a underground leak The homeowner said that he hoa should cover any underground issues The water heater was installed November 2023 RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: My recommendation is to flush the water heater and to flush the water lines in the whole home to attempt to remove as much of the mud as possible

Customer stated: they had a leak coming from the apartment above. Tech notes: called out today to look at a leaking coming from the apartment above. While on site home owner told me that there is water that drips from his vent directly above the kitchen sink. He stated that it hasn’t occurred since he’s called in to us. I went to the apartment above and and ran water from the kitchen sink for 15 minutes and couldn’t get a single drop to show. Tenant in the apartment above stated in the apartment complex’s they’ve had a lot of leaks due to structural issues when it rains. Tenant stated the leak accrued when the heavy rains came in. Resolution: I found no issue with the plumbing in the apartments. I would have a construction contractor come out and look at the window in front of the kitchen. Job status complete. CUSTOMER STATED: downstairs bathroom was backing up with sewage and leaking on the floor. TECHNICIAN NOTES: technician found that the whole sewer line was backed up due to an unknown cause most likely roots due to the technician getting his cable stuck about 50 to 60 feet down the line outside the home. CUSTOMER STATED: Customers kitchen Drain line was backed up, First technician that American home shield sent out, did not properly diagnose the issue and left before starting the job. They had an emergency leak on Sunday which they had their own service contractor come out to replace the cracked cast iron. When other technicians sent his small machine down the pipe, it broke his equipment. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Technician found that the kitchen drain is draining, extremely slow due to the age of the cast iron and most likely kitchen grease that developed over the course of the 50 years The home was built. Water heater is currently leaking due to age. Unit is a natural gas heater built in 2001, will need to completely replace the unit to resolve the issue with all required code items. Will most likely need a tall skinny unit due to the area we have to work with currently. Tech will be sitting with Dan to create a proper estimate.. AHS return trip to replace parts provided by the manufacturer. Cartridge, handle, bonnet nut and plastic cover piece. Plastic cover piece will need broken off as it is not budging without damaging. Customer will call once parts arrive. Customer States: Parts arrived from manufacturer and needs them installed. Technician Notes: Out today to installed manufacturer supplied parts on the Pfister single handle kitchen faucet. Resolution: Installed new cartridge, handle, and trim. Restored water to faucet and tested for proper function and leaks. Customer will monitor over the next couple weeks to make sure issue is handled.
Custumer stated pop up assembly was broken. After inspecting I found the pop up rod needed to be replaced AHs denied the repair due to preexisting conditions. The home owner authorized the cod estimate to replace the rod only. After installing I tested and found no further leaks or drips at this time.
