Needing to provide and replace the FVIR for a 40 gallon natural gas Rheem water heater. Part has been changed and heater is working properly now
Choice home warranty did not process the paperwork correctly and took about two months for them to get a recall over to us. Part was never sent out via choice
This is a complimentary estimate to install approximately 80' of 1" counterstrike gas line in the attic. Once the new line is run it will be terminated in a gas supply manifold that will then supply the dryer, furnace, HVAC unit, and stove. This estimate includes 1/2" of the previous amount spent on the pressure test applied to the future work.
Perform a gas pressure test to test the existing gas line We did the pressure test and it is leaking somewhere under the floor We need to build a estimate to run the gas line from the gas mirror up to the attic and run around 120 feet of pipe Counters trap pipe.
The homeowner complaint is that they are having issues with the gas appliances not working properly The hvac company said that the furnace is not not burning correctly The gas stove appears to only have half the size of flame as they did before The gas company said they have more then enough flow to the meter The other plumbing company said they are having an issue with the line from the meter to the area where the gas line goes into the home I found that the homeowner has already ran a 1/2in gas line through the attic From the meter to the area where it goes into the home on the back side of the house I looked at the issue and spoke with management and determined we need to perform our own pressure test before any other estimates could be provided The line the homeowner has already run to bypass the old line is to small Once the pressure test is completed we can give a estimate for the proper repair or replacement Job not completed The homeowner needs the estimate to mak
CUSTOMER STATED: shower was dripping in the guest bathroom. TECHNICIAN NOTES: tech found that the no brand three handle shower valve is dripping from the hot side. Tech was able to get the drip to stop by turning it very hard but customer is older and does not have the strength to turn it that hard. We cannot remove the handle due to the amount of corrosion on the hot and cold side but the diverterter stem was able to be removed. Tech took measurements of the diverter for us to locate so we can build a proper estimate for choice RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: will need to locate part to replace on return trip. Handles will need to be cut off and replaced as well due to the corrosion preventing us from removing them. Bill to CHW. Job Status: Complete. Autho: Complete under limit, bill to CHW. Estimates: No additional needed.
Customer States: They have no hot water. They have been without hot water since Thursday of last week. Technician Notes: There is a 40 gallon natural gas Whirlpool waste heater from 2008 in the exterior utility closet that is not producing hot water. Pilot will not stay lit. Due to the pilot going out, burner assembly is unable to turn on. Thermocouple has failed. Resolution: Submit work order to CHW for approval. CHW approved replacement of the thermocouple. After installing the new thermocouple, the water heater pilot would still not work properly. Issue is more then likely related to the gas control valve. I am unable to locate the exact one of this water heater. This unit is 16 years old and whirlpool was the manufacturer. Unable to locate part. Water heater will need replaced. Job Notes: No exterior sewer clean out located while onsite today. Job Status: Complete ( customer may need new work order for water heater replacement ) Autho: auth37055030 for 130.00 Estimates: Goo
