Customer stated: when she leaves the house for extended periods of time she would smell gas when she returned. Customer advised she first smelt the gas in December, and her gas bills have not been elevated. Technician notes: upon arrival checked through whole house with no gas smells, customer said it was only when she wasn’t there for awhile. Tested the gas furnace and gas water heater with soap and water and was unable to find any signs of gas leaks. Pulled bottom drawer out of stove and smelled a slight gas smell, tested all connections with soap and water that I could access from gas connection in wall to the bottom of the stove, no indications of gas leaks were found at this time. Recommendation: possibly have an appliance tech come check the stove for any issues. MGP notes: unable to locate any leaks at this time, please bill accordingly. Estimates: no further needed.
