CUSTOMER STATED : No hot water. TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out today for the concerns of a 3 year old state water heater not producing hot water due to a defective gas control valve. Electronic gas control valve is showing no flashes. Water heater is still under manufacturing warranty. Recommended for customer to contact manufacturer and get new gas control valve for us to install for the cost of labor only. Customer signed off on estimate to relight water heater, however that did not resolve issues and asked if estimate signed off on could go towards cost to install a customer supplied gas control valve. Plumbing service. We showed today because they had a toilet back up after we left, but when we got to site the were able to clear it just by flushing the toilet. We did some flushes with paper for a couple times and it continued flushing properly.

Customer Stated: They had bought a new shower head, but were unable to get the old one off. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that the old shower head had some corrosion around the threading, and this was the reason the h/o was having difficulty getting it off. I presented options to have the shower head removed along with installing the brand new customer supplied shower head, but the h/o only wanted me to remove the existing shower head for todays visit. Resolution: I was able to successfully remove the existing shower head with no issues. The h/o stated she would be able to install the new shower head herself.
