4/4/24 Preston B. Job notes : Out today for a sold estimate to perform a cleaning on the tankless water heater located in the basement. Cleaning included flushing system, cleaning air intake filter, sediment filter, wiping down excessive condensation from heat exchanger, and blew all debris from inside the tankless. RESOLUTION : Cleaned navien tankless water heater in basement. After servicing system, I have fully pressurized and the tested the tankless for proper functions. Tankless is showing no concerns at this point in time and is Leo using hot water. JOB NOTES : Water pressure is 60 PSI from back side hose bib. This is a complimentary estimate to have the existing broken 3/4” pvc to 1/2” CPVC piping replaced to help fix/prevent any future plumbing issues. Customer Stated: They called out for us to give quotes on having a gas fire log installed. Upon inspection: We found that the gas fire put has already been built, and was run in yellow gas line material. I let the h/o know we can not install a log burner style fire kit with this material bc there is potential of it melting the gas line. I let her know we would need to lift tile as it is not set yet, and can be removed so we can run a proper black iron gas line underneath, and install a key gas valve shut off. The h/o is intending on having the gas meter upgraded to a larger size, and needs to have 3 regulators installed at the gas meter. She would like to have this included with to gas line work for fire pit. While on site the h/o wanted us to quote her on water line piping underneath the back patio, and have a new outdoor faucet instal

**ANNUAL WATER HEATER FLUSH** Tech Notes: Upon inspection for todays flush we found that this is rheem 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the garage of home, and is 12 years of age which is outside of manufacture warranty. I made her aware that due to the water heater being outside of manufacture warrant, and the age of the unit that we would not be able to perform the flush for todays visit due to liability reasons. I found that the thermal expansion tank was full of water, and is no longer functions properly. While on site I checked whole home water pressure, and received a reading of 90-95 psi which is outside of state code regulations, and means the PRV has failed. I made h/o aware that these two things will cause secondary damages to the fixtures through out the home if not addressed. The h/o stated she would not be able to address these repairs today. Resolution: The PRV along with thermal expansion tank will need to be replaced to help fix/prevent any future plumbi

CUSTOMER STATED: They had a leak coming from the water heater. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that this is a AO smith 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the basement of home, and is 20+ years of age which outside manufacturer warranty. I found that this water heater is leaking internally, and must be replaced. I made the home owner aware that AHS warranty is covering for the water heater, and up to $250 for code required items/modifications. I presented options to have this done through warranty with the out of pocket expenses, and to go through service. The h/o elected to speak with AHS warranty first before making any decisions. I also made him aware that AHS will be supplying the water heater, and this could take anywhere from 5-7 business days before receiving the new tank. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: We will have to replace the existing leaking AO smith 50 gallon tank located in the basement of home with brand new tank, and all code required items t

Customer States: Expansion tank above the water heater is leaking. Wants to know if Constellation covers for this repair or not. Technician Notes: Out today to look into issue with a leak coming from an expansion tank above the water heater in the garage. Also spoke to customer about water heater replacement with a standard tank vs a tankless. Resolution: Installed new expansion tank and restored water. Tested for leaks and proper function. CUSTOMER STATED: leak showing up in kitchen are of the home TECHNICIAN NOTES: came out today for diagnosis while out on site found that there was signs of water in kitchen hallway area of the home and will need to cut out and replace that section in order to address leak. RESOLUTION: replaced about a foot of pex piping and found no further concerns after fully adding pressure to the system as of today everything is working as it should issue was located in hallway of kitchen on main floor.
