Removed failed check valve servicing second sump pump and inspecting pump. Long Branch, NJ 07764
Arrived on site client stated that he had a leak under the kitchen sink. Upon inepction I noticed a little bit of moisture underneath the basket strainer. Client stated he thinks thier maybe another leak on the nut for the trap arm but during testing I did not see any others other than the basket strainer at this time. I also noticed the valves were corroded but client wanted to just replace the basket strainer at this time. When done I tested with hot water and filled the sink up. There are no leaks at this time.
Arrived to the home, client would like an estimate for replacement of there existing 40 gallon natural draft water heater. There is nothing wrong with the water heater, client is just looking to be proactive. While going over the scope of the work, the client explained that they have two leaks in the basement, one is the existing single handle washing machine valve, and a leaking brass plug that is going to nothing. I provided options and client would like to fix the active leaks and get a quote for water heater replacement. Turned off the water to the home. Drained down the system. Disconnected and removed existing washing machine valve. Supplied and installed new brand new boiler drain valves for the washer both on hot and cold side. Secured my connections. Cut out and removed leaking brass plug. Prepped piping for new install. Supplied and installed new copper pipes and fittings. Secured those connections. Turned the water back onto the home to check for leaks. There are no leaks
Left option s to replace both shower valves or to replace the master bathroom shower valve. Client will call us back to speak with her husband about which option they would like to choose. We will credit back the visual diagnostic if they move forward.
Customer supplied filtration install Arrived to home to install customer supplied house filter. MyGuy installed filter using material needed as customer supplied filters and housing. Ran pex and made all connections including a bypass. Tested for leaks, there are none at this time
Arrived on site client stated she has a leak under kitchen sink and would like for us to replace the kitchen faucet. Upon inspection both bask strainers were leaking and one of the trap were leaking as well. All of client shutoff valves were old and hard to turn so we offered to replace them as well. Today we replaced 3 shutoff valves, 2 basket strainers, dishwasher tailpiece and trap. Tested for leaks with hot water when done and there are no leaks at this time.

Arrived on site client stated her toilet would not stop running. Client stated she just wants new guts in the tank and does not want a new toilet today. Turned water off to the toilet and replaced the flapper, fill valve, and supply line. Turned the water back on to the toilet and tested for leaks. Put blue dye tabs in the tank and there are no leaks from the tank to the bowl.
Arrived to the home, client is in the process of buying the home from their family members and there are a few plumbing issues that need to be fixed. Main concern is the leaking bathtub drain in the crawlspace portion of the basement. Other issues include, new shut off valves under kitchen sink, kitchen faucet replacement, and two new toilets. Client has stated they would like to purchase their own faucet and toilets. Client is strictly looking for an itemized estimate for the work to be done, we will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the work to be completed. *Client is aware that in the process of removing the toilets, there is slight risk that the flanges need to be repaired, or worst case replaced, and the service would come at an additional cost.

Arrived on site client stated her upstairs shower was slow draining. After looking down the shower drain it appears to be hair and a bunch of debris. Snaked shower drain and the cable came back with a ball of hair. Ran hot water in the shower for 10 minutes and the shower did not back up at all.
Arrived to the home, client has two hose bibs in the font and back of the home with two gates valves that are hard turn and original to the home. The one valve under the kitchen sink is for the front hose Bibb and the one for for the backyard Bibb is located above the water heater. Installed the past we did give options for replacement and client would like ball valves installed for each. Turned water off to the home and drained the system down. Cut out and removed existing gate valves from the home. Supplied and installed two ball valves in their place. Secured all my connections and turned the water back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Purged the system of air as well. *Client has requested a hard copy of the invoice mailed to their home.
