Hardness 6 PH 7.3 Chlorine 0ppm Arrived to the home, client states the existing delta shower valve has a steady drip at the tub spout. Over a year ago we had replaced the shower cartridge and that service is out of the warranty time frame. I advised to the client that the existing shower valve is the older model 1700 series and replacement is something to ponder. For today, client would like us to repair the shower valve so it stops dripping. Turned off water to the home. Removed trim. Disconnected Bonnet Nut and removed the cartridge. Supplied and installed direct replacement cartridge. Secured the connections and turned the home back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Adjusted high limit setting for the shower valve as well. *If client calls back because the shower starts dripping again within the warranty time frame, I advised them that I can give a credit from today’s service towards the cost of shower valve replacement.
