Arrived on site client stated their toilet would back up and not flush. Client has a clean out outside and when we opened the clean out there was water. Snaked the main line through the clean out and found roots and flushable wipes on the cable. Restored flow for today and left estimates to dig and repair sewer main.
Arrived on site and client stated both his bath tub and shower were backed up. Snaked the master shower and the tub water in the other bathroom dropped. Blockage appeared to be caused by hair. Both tub and shower are draining as they should.
Arrived to the home, customer states there is a leak from the upstairs bathtub going down to the kitchen ceiling, customer has already cut open a hole for me. The existing bathtub is an American Standard soaking tub with jets and a special order tub waste and over flow. I ran water to determine the cause of where the leak is coming from, there are no leaks coming from the tub drain or the trap for the tub. I next poured water on the overflow plate and water started to leak from below. I advised to the client that I can order this specific tub drain for them and come back to install it, but in order to install the drain, I would need to demo the tile in the adjacent shower in order to get access to the piping or removal of the tub completely. Client is aware of this, the cause of the leak is the rubber gasket for the overflow appears to have dry rotted.
Arrived to the home, customer states the existing toilet leaks from the tank to bowl whenever flushed. I diagnosed this issues as failed spud gasket and has dry rotted. I provided options for repairing or replacing the toilet, customer would like to go over the options and will possibly call us back for the work to be completed.
