Upon arrival Thomas and I discussed the issue with his running toilet. After discovering the culprit (failed fill valve) we spoke about a few options. We discussed installing a whole home sediment filter to alleviate the build up of sediment in the toilet tanks as well as the other plumbing fixtures. He stated that at this time he just wanted to toilet to stop running. But when doing a remodel/addition to the home (near future) he’d like to address those concerns then. Inquired if we install septic systems as well. They will need a second system to accommodate the addition in the future. For the repair today I turned the valve off to stop the flow on water to the tank. Drain down water and remove failed fill valve. Install the new fill valve, test to verify proper function and no leaks.
