Job Checkin

We came out today to perform a 65 point inspection, and to flush the water heater. Upon arriving at the home I was shown to the water heater, which is where I began by attaching a garden hose to the boiler drain and draining the heater. While the heater drained, I inspected the single bathroom and kitchen. In the bathroom I found that the toilet shut off valve, as well as the lavatory faucet shut off valves are frozen and unable to be turned. All of the fixtures function fine, but there is no way to shut them off should there be an emergency. As for the kitchen, the drain and water lines have recently been replaced and were basically brand new. The faucet functioned fine as well. After looking over the fixtures, I went back into the basement to check the drain lines and water lines. There I noticed that most of the home’s water piping is polybutylene which has been banned because of its reputation for developing leaks. A long term solution to this issue would be to replace the water li
