After arriving to the home, the homeowners made me aware of a leak they’ve been experiencing. Located on the left side of the home, as you face it, they hear water running in the crawlspace. They notice the noise after they get through showering. This has been occurring for the past few days, but they couldn’t pinpoint an exact date when they noticed this. I crawled back to that area of the home, and noticed standing water, and that the underbelly of the home was sagging. In the standing water, there was microbes visible. I was able to get a recording of the issue, the drain pipe from the tub shower had come loose and disconnected completely, allowing water to enter the crawlspace. In order to fix this, my recommendation is to replace the tub drain, but to also replace the drains themselves due to a sag in the line, and based off visual inspection of the drains.
