After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of how the toilet we have previously installed was giving her trouble. It’s the pressure assisted rear outlet toilet. The homeowner turned the water off to the toilet, and when I arrived I turned the water back to it. The toilet began to fill and ran without shutting off. I had to pull on the plunger ever so slightly to help reset the flush mechanism. After that, the toilet flush mechanism filled and reset accordingly. I flushed the toilet 3 additional times and observed 3 separate times of the pressure vessel filling and shutting off on its own. At this time, the toilet is functioning properly without issue. If this issue should persist, we will need to figure out another way to move forward and resolve the inconsistency in the toilets performance.
