Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that there was a leak somewhere in the ceiling. I then proceeded to cut a hole in the ceiling and come to find that the shower drain had been leaking for sometime now causing water damage to the ceiling and wood around it. I then proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get this issue fixed today. The homeowner decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved. I began by making the whole big enough so that I could fit in it and cutting out the old shower drain and then installing the new shower drain.
