Upon arrival customer made me aware that he had heard a loud pop and has no hot water and upon further investigation I found that the two year old rheem water heater was leaking out of the base and the lower panel. I gave the customer multiple options and upfront pricing and he informed me that he does have a five year warranty on these appliances in the home. That warranty company does allow him to hire his own contractors to rectify the situation. The customer will be sending our information as far as estimate into the warranty company for reimbursement and as soon as the customer receives that check He will call us to get the unit replaced under warranty. The customer has left a $160 nonrefundable deposit but can be refunded at completion of job if the insurance company sends him full payment.
