I arrived to the home today to address two minor issues the homeowner has. The homeowner is in the process of selling her home, and the buyer’s inspector had 2 issues that needed to be addressed by a licensed professional. First issue is located in the full bathroom at the front of the home. The inspector noted that the tub spout Diverter did not dispense the water after the shower valve was turned off. This does not pose an significant issue and the shower valve and tub spout still function as intended without issues. In order to repair the tub spout to make it function how the inspector wants it to, the tub spout would need to be replaced, and locating and finding a direct replacement would be unlikely. Next issue pertains to the shower head in the master bathroom. The shower arm is loose. The homeowner made me aware that the inspector’s concern lies with water getting behind the shower arm.
