Upon arrival James, Ann, and I discussed the issues they where having. They had stated that the outside faucet was seized and unable to be turned on or off. I was able to get it to turn on and back to normal operation by turning the handle with some force. After the initial turn on of the hose bib it operated as it should. Their other concern was the the o-ring for his whole home sediment filers. Asked if we had the o-rings stocked on the truck, after informing him I didn’t he stated he was gonna grab some at Lowe’s or Home Depot, collected dispatch fee. Issues resolved at this time
After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of how his septic pump was working. He noticed this recently, and wanted to determine the problem and solution. We began by removing the septic risers to inlet, outlet, and effluent tank. I could tell the main septic tank was full, the inlet pipe was completely submerged, and the outlet filter was submerged. On the effluent tank, we did not see the discharge pipe coming from the pump. The homeowner pulled the pump out and we determined the pipe had snapped. The discharge line is 2” going to the drain field, but 1-1/2” coming off the pump. The basin was still full of water and I was unable to determine the depth or volume of the tank. I made the homeowner aware that I would need to get the liquids removed from the tanks before I could accurately determine what will be needed to restore the system. I gave the homeowner a price to pump the tanks, at this time he wants to give the repair a shot before moving forward with work from us.
-replace tub waste and overflow on bathtub in upstairs hall bathroom with new stopper Return today and replaced tub waste and over flow in upstairs hall bathroom after replacing adjusted tub stopper to proper length and then tested everything is working properly with no leaks
-cut out and remove all water piping in crawlspace -cut sheet rock in kitchen wall and ceiling -remove as much piping as possible in kitchen ceiling -drill bottom of kitch cabinet and bathroom vanity’s to install new water piping -drill though floor and at each toilet for new new water piping -cut tile at each tub shower valve and remove old 3 handle tub shower valves -install new delta single handle shower valves -install two new 20 gall pressure tanks in crawl space -install new pressure switch,pressure gage and boiler drain -Pipe main line to crawlspace door with new sediment filter for easy access -install new kitchen faucet 2 handle or single handle -replace both basket strainers and all tubular piping under sink -install new 40 gallon low boy water heater -install new water heater pan -new electric disconnect for water heater We will cut open sheet rock but it will be customer responsibility to have it repaired and re-paint Day one 4/18/23 -drained and removed old
Both options given are issues that was found after water was restored after repipe was completed tub stopper being broken off in tub waste and over flow and no water at faucet both items are in upstairs hall bathroom
Upon arrival customer explained that they had multiple issues 2 being leaks one above cabinets and one in crawlspace as well as kitchen faucet dripping and drain piping under coming loss After going over many different issues in home and explaining the condition of the copper piping I provided options to customer and he decided to go with option 1 that includes -new water heater -new kitchen faucet -replacement of basket strainers and tubular piping under kitchen sink -complete water repipe -new sediment filter -two new 20 gallon pressure tanks -two new shower valves -all new emergency stops -two new hose bibs Made customer aware that we will cut sheet rock out but will be there responsibility to have it repaired Will be returning Tuesday and Wednesday possibly Thursday to perform work Job is financed and financing is completed
Upon arrival to the hall and the customer stated that he was having problems with his septic, after talking with the customer and talking with the Office we cannot find a permit for the septic tank for this house the customer believes there was not a septic permit pulled in the beginning so at this time the customer is going to talk to the county and the EPA about what to do moving forward saying how he inherited this house from a family member, the customer did pay the Dispatch fee and was extremely grateful that we came out and tried to get this issue resolved for him
Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that they were having an issue with all the drains in the home not draining properly. Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that something may be wrong with the septic tank. The customer stated that his father installed the septic tank 30 years ago and it has not been pumped since. We have scheduled for our drain specialist to come out Monday morning. To look into the issue further.

Said that upstairs toilet flange had been set to low and had to have a plumber come out and raise flange. Also stated that downstairs guest toilet was leaking from front of toilet. Flushed toilet 20+ times , checked around base and in crawl space, unable to locate any leak. Customer said that icemaker line to fridge had been leaking But a previous plumber had fixed the icemaker leak and that may be where water had come from around toilet. Let customer know to keep an eye on the toilet to see if it leaks anymore, if so to call us back and we will come look at it. Customer also stated that downstairs master toilet was flushing slow. We were called out to look at a dishwasher/kitchen sink that is leaking. We investigated and found that the cold water supply line was leaking. The emergency shut off valve was turned to the ‘off’ position, however this did not stop the leak. We informed the homeowner of each variable that could be contributing to this issue, and offered several options for repair. The customer stated that she and her husband are considering the options, and they will contact us in the future after they’ve reached a decision. We collected a dispatch fee.
On today’s visit a customer made us aware that she tested positive for coliform in her well. She had full documentation of all the issues with her well water so at that time we presented a customer with multiple options and upfront pricing on systems that would solve all of her issues. The customer has chosen option two and left a nonrefundable deposit. Electric Water Heater Diagnostic, pinpoint issue and provide upfront price for repaires needed 49 dispatch fee Upon arrival customer made me aware he was not getting full capacity from his electric water heater and the upper thermostat was tripping.I gave the customer upfront pricing on diagnosing the issue and I found the water heater to be getting 240v,14 amp draw but no continuity on lower element.customer informed me that the water heater had 3500 watt elements installed and requires 4500 watts. After arriving to the home, the homeowner lead me to the right side of the house and showed me where his current well is located. The homeowner has lived at the house since 2015. The house was built in 2005. This dates the pump at about 17 Years Old. We believe this to be the Original Pump. The Homeowner also made me aware that the Pressure Tank has been replaced in the past 3 years, and that no current issues exist with his pressure. He also has a Kinetico Water Softener in place. The Well Statistics are as followed: 3/4 HP Pump by Red Jacket (8GPM) 230 VAC Pump Depth at 275’ Well Depth at 305’ Static Water Level at Unknown Well Yield: 4GPM (based of well tag) After considering the current conditions of the well equipment, I created 4 options. As of right now, the customer is being proactive and wants estimates before continuing with any work.
