We were called out today because the homeowners are experiencing low water pressure in their guest shower/tub. Mrs. Warner explained to me that she was using that tub spout to fill her dog’s water bowl, and she noticed the pressure was extremely low. I looked over the area, and indeed the pressure is extremely low. I checked pressure throughout the rest of the home, and everything else seems to be fine. The home is on a well which has a 40/60 switch, and it is actuating properly, and the pressure tank is also good. I told Mrs. Warner that the issue seems to be the shower valve itself, that maybe it has become impacted with sediment or rust… We offered several options for replacing the shower valve, including options with isolation valves on the shower, down to simply replacing the valve with a limited warranty. We are emailing those options for the homeowners to consider, and they will schedule the work later after making that decision. Dispatch fee was collected via card.
