-run cable auger into piping underneath kitchen sink to clear blockage On today’s visit the customer made me aware that they had potentially put too many carrots down the kitchen sink drain and then it began to back up and not drain properly. I confirmed that there was a kitchen sink blockage and that the Studer vent was functioning properly as well as opening a clean out cap in the crawlspace and discovered build up. The kitchen sink drain drops down through the subfloor and meets the 3 inch drain within 15 feet. I gave the customer multiple options it out from pricing and four today he had me run my cable auger through drains underneath kitchen sink until it met The 3 inch main line leaving the home. I also clear the slight debris behind the clean out cap in the drains in the crawlspace. I was successful in clearing the blockage then I filled up the sink multiple times and tested thoroughly now everything is functioning as it should Nick pleasants Mcleansville,nc

Shut off water supply to the home and drain the system Cut out bad section of ‘quest’ piping including the tee fitting where the leak is coming from, and the gate valve which supplies another property Replace removed section of pipe with pex pipe, and install 1/4 ball valve in place of the old gate valve Turn on the water and pressure test the system to ensure no other leaks are present Offer pricing for any further repairs necessary 1 year “can’t write a check” warranty on ball valve No warranty on quest pipe repair We were called out to look at a leaking pipe in the customer’s basement/crawlspace. After arriving at the home, and speaking with customer, and looking over the area, we discovered that the majority of the home’s piping is in quest/polybutylene. Some repairs and retrofits have been made in pex, but everything else is quest. I explained to the customer the potential for leaks in the future, and we would strongly suggest that they consider having everything replaced to pe

We were called out to look at, and offer the customer pricing, for repiping the home, and installing a water treatment system. Talking with the homeowners, and looking over the home, we found that the original water supply piping were a mix of mostly copper, with a substantial amount of ‘quest’ repairs and renovations. We observed the copper piping in the crawlspace showed severe corrosion, as well as several sections of pipe which were not secured properly, or were otherwise installed/repaired incorrectly. We performed a water quality test on the home, and we discovered that the water has an acidity of 6.6, and an iron content of 1 ppm. There was also substantial hardness, and a potential for excessive ammonia content if left unchecked. Finally, we observed that the well’s pressure tank was water logged, and the switch was actuating constantly whenever water was turned on in the home. The two upstairs shower valves also showed evidence of causing issue in the near future, and on of th

After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of a potential leak they could have. They’ve noticed a puddle of water in their laundry room, and directly above it is the master bathroom. The homeowners just moved in approximately a month ago. They believe the source of the leak is due to a loose waste and overflow plate. I was able to confirm this by running water and looking at the preexisting access in the ceiling. I did not observe an active drain or water line leak, however surface corrosion on copper pipes did concern me. I also noticed polybutylene piping throughout the home. I made the homeowners aware that we could have Matthew come out this afternoon, 08/02, to take a look at their water system and corroded pipes. During my visit I noticed the pressure tank short cycling. While running water, it was clear to see the burst of water pressure which indicated the pump cutting on and off rapidly. I gave options with upfront pricing to replace the pressure tank and to insta

Upon arrival customer stated they had very low water pressure. House is on well. Checked pressure gauge, pressure would slowly build up to 20 psi and stay there until water was used. Customer stated they tried to replace pressure switch but in the process cracked the pvc going to the nipple for pressure switch. They used jb weld to close it up but when pressure would reach near 20 psi you could hear air escaping. Recommended to customer to go ahead and replace switch and tank tee to eliminate that being the issue. Customer wants to do financing so I informed her it had to be over 1000 to get financing and gave her an option to go ahead and pull the pump to inspect water line and electrical wire going to pump and price also covered pinpointing exact issue after getting pressure switch and tank tee replaced. Customer is going to apply for financing but had to leave for an appointment, gave her my work cell number to call if she had any questions when applying for financing. If approved

Upon arrival customer made me aware that they had a leak coming down through the kitchen ceiling. On investigation we found that the homeowner had replaced the cold side washer box emergency shut off valve and the thread tape area on the half inch PEX male was leaking. These are all new products that he installed but we’re not sealed properly. I gave the customer multiple options and upfront pricing and at this time he would like to attempt on his own to reseal that threaded connection. If there are any issues he will contact us on potentially doing any of the options. I did notice that on the hot side emergency shut off valve for the washing machine did have a slight drip coming from the packing nut as well Nick pleasants Mcleansville,nc
