Hand dig to expose septic tank lid On today’s visit I have a customer made me aware that the emergency light for the sewage eject or pump was on indicating a failure. I removed The lid to the pump station and manually plug the pump in finding it not to function. As I was feeling for any vibration I found that the pipe had came loose from the pump potentially causing the pump to constantly run and therefore fail. So I pulled the pump out to get the Correct sizing so that I can provide the customer with multiple options and upfront pricing. The customer has chosen option two which consists of a new half horsepower sewage eject or pump/float switch/one-year warranty. A pump has been ordered and I will follow up on potential arrival date once I get more information. Based on the fact that the pump is in operable at this point the customer has decided to have me hand dig up both sides of the septic tank and my septic truck will come pump both sides down after giving multiple options and up
