After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of a leaking hose bib. This was the one we replaced this past April. The homeowner made me aware that when they came back from a 2 week vacation, the hose bib was leaking. Upon visual inspection, water was steady dripping from the face, which indicates a poor seal, and tightening the packing nut did not resolve the leak. I replaced the hose bib under warranty, and installed another frost free hose bib. I turned the water off at the pressure tank, and drained the pressure off using the hose bib. I removed it and tied back into the 1/2” PEX. After securing it to the home, I eased the water back on and checked for leaks. The hose bib was free of leaks and functioning properly when I left, I reconnected the hose which services the RV.
