Install new main sewer line from the septic tank to the home with clean outside of the foundation (23ft of pipe) Upon arrival confirmed with customer work to be completed. After confirming work to be completed, started digging up sewer line outside of foundation. Tunneled under concrete pad to expose 4” PVC pipe. After pipe was uncovered outside went into crawl space and dug up pipe at penetration. After all pipe was exposed, cut out section of PVC pipe that was affected by root ball. Replaced with 4” PVC pipe , installed two way cleanout outside of foundation. Connected pipe to existing PVC in crawl space. After pipe was connected, ran water to test for leaks, no leaks found. Backfilled ditch, tamped dirt around pipe to secure in place.
Upon arrival to the home today I camera the line from the septic tank to the house, at 23 foot inside the pipe I found a root blockage, after talking with the homeowner provided upfront prices and options for her she chose to go with getting that main line replaced from the septic tank to the inside of the home in the crawlspace, we will be returning on Thursday to do that we will also be installing a clean out next to the foundation of the home so that if any problems in the future does arise we will have easy access to run a snake through versus digging up the septic tank and having to pull the lid and go through there

I began by digging up the septic tank lid to make sure that the tank was not full. The tank was not full. Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that there was a mainline stoppage. I’ve been proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get the issue resolved today. The customer decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved by began by running my drain machine down the main line until the blockage was cleared. Once the blockage was cleared I tested everything thoroughly to make sure that everything was draining properly. Customer called us out to replace a ball valve on her pool system. After looking over the system, we noticed that dwv piping was used instead of schedule 40. We also noticed one ball valve which was completely broken, and another which was very stiff, and I wasn’t able to turn it for fear that it would also break. We provided the customer with three options for repair. We did not agree on a repair option today, we will email the options which will be good for 30 day. Dispatch fee was collected via check.
After arriving to the property the homeowner made me aware that previously there has been damage done to the drainfield for the septic system and that since then the county has came out and located a separate drainfield on the property that is pre-existing and he has had the septic system connected to it and currently is not experiencing any failure but is looking into possible service should there be an issue with the drain field, as well I have provided upfront pricing for installation of various water systems, the pricing given currently is somewhat vague and may change depending on where the homeowner chooses to place the system
After arriving to the home to assess the outdoor fixture on the rear of the home installed by us approximately two years ago, my findings were that the faucet is leaking from the vacuum breaker due to freezing via leaving a water hose attached during the colder months in the year, the two year warranty on the service is a warranty towards manufactures defect and workmanship failure, given that freezing voids manufactures warranty this item is no longer under warranty, that coupled with the fact that Caswell County is outside of our service area now this is no longer a service that we will be offering at this time Adam Hill 336-260-7996
