Install new outside frost proof faucet this faucet will come with a 1 year warranty.
Repipe the gas system from the kick out to all the gas appliances. 5 drops in total counting the kick in. We will run the kick in inside strap it then build a manifold to run each fixture. We will put in isolation valves in the crawl space in the event a leak comes up to isolate the line that is leaking as well as shutoff valves at the fixtures. We will sleeve the kick in and seal it from the outside. We will also ground the line stubbing in and paint it to prevent corrosion. The lines will be strapped up neatly in the crawl space. 5 year warranty on the gas lines installed
We will snake the drain with a cable hand auger and remove the p trap to make sure it is clean out.
Snake the bathtub and vanity drains through the cleanout on the tub in an attempt to clear the blockage After attempting to sneak the drain, we were unsuccessful. We decided to disconnect the drain in the crawlspace, take it apart and found a shampoo cat that was lodged in the fitting, causing the clog.
I was called to fix a leaking ball valve. First, I turned off the gas supply and carefully removed the old flex line from the stove. Then, I detached the old shut-off valve, which was worn and leaking. After cleaning the threads on the pipe to ensure a secure connection, I installed a new ball valve, applying Teflon tape for a tight seal. Finally, I reattached the flex line, restored the gas supply, and tested for leaks, ensuring everything was securely in place and functioning properly.
Provided an estimate for hose bib repair. Evaluated the existing outdoor hose bib for leaks and wear. Recommended replacing the old hose bib with a frost-free model to prevent future freezing issues. The estimate includes costs for removing the existing hose bib, installing the new frost-free hose bib, and securing all connections to ensure a leak-free setup. Explained the benefits of the upgrade and provided a detailed cost breakdown for labor and materials.
Today, I patched a section of concrete. I prepared the area by cleaning and removing any loose debris. I then applied a concrete patching compound, ensuring it was level and smooth. After allowing it to cure, I inspected the patch for structural integrity and confirmed it was solid and properly bonded. The repair will restore the surface's durability.
We will need to cut out more concrete to widen the hole and make it more accessible. We will also need to dig up the line in the ground to make the repair. We will repair the line all the way up into the building and install a union to allow easier access and maintenance. This option covers the one leak repair labor and parts. It does not include fixing any additional leaks in the slab. If more leaks are found we will need to price out the leaks and if the customer goes for the other options if other leaks are found a discount will be deducted as long as we fix the other leaks while we are here. We will dig up find the other end of the line that is separated, reconnect the line. We will fill up the spa to see if there are any other leaks. The backfilling and patching concrete are covered by the original invoice.
Came out to investigate a possible water leak on a waterline going to the shop 500 foot long ran couple tests and had no water movement on the meter there is not a water leak
Today I adjusted the maximum temperature setting on a Moen PosiTemp shower valve. The existing setting was limiting the hot water flow, resulting in inadequate shower temperatures for the customer's preference. Using a Moen service tool, I removed the trim plate and turned the safety stop adjustment screw clockwise to increase the allowable hot water percentage. After reassembling the valve, I tested the new temperature range within safe limits. The customer was advised on the risks of scalding and the need for anti-scald devices if further increases were desired. Proper warnings were provided per code requirements.
Change out the garbage disposal. Replace the shower valve in the master bathroom and the guest bathroom. This will have us cutting the fiberglass surround opening bigger to change the valve out from the front.
