Arrived at location on 11/3/22 - Removed and replaced old fan motor with a new one. Turned unit on made sure that fans ran correctly.
Left fryer - found receptacle bad in the wall and plug overheated not getting all 3 phases of electric. found element wiring burnt up and contactors not working. I did repair the element wires. I will obtain new contactors and return. customer will get an electrician to replace the receptacle and plug. 9/30/19 Replaced the contactors. found one heat element heats OK and the other only gets voltage on one element loop and no voltage on the other loops. unit was previously wired wrong and will need rewired. also found left element has a bad element. I will obtain part and return. will have to trace and label /rewire. I will return. 10/4/19 Returned and repaired wiring in the contactor box. I checked ops all heat elements are working and unit is ready to use. customer still needs an electrician to replace burnt up receptacle and plugs at the wall. unit is ready to use
Stated u-burners on Griddle do not light, pilot is lit. dropped down front cover, pilot is lit, burners do not light, found wire fell off thermostat that supplies voltage to both thermostats. reconnect wire, burners now both light. unplug unit. crimp new terminal ends on wires, turn unit on and allow to heat, verify thermostats cycling, okay for use.
Installed a new Vulcan steamer and and new scale blocker water filter system, removed an old groen steamer and filter. I did install new drain and vent plumbing did install new water supply lines. I set gas pressure 10 in wc .checked ops .Okay, ready to use.
Arrived. customer stated unit isn't lighting properly. Checked and cleaned burners and used orifice bits to clear out closed spots on the burners. Found orifices very clogged removed and cleaned. Reassembled unit and tested. Unit is working much better now and is okay for use.
Found left thermostat on Grill bad. Sticking and over heating at times. Did replace the thermostat and checked operation. OK and ready to use.
