Arrived at location on 9/16/22 - Spoke to manager. She said the Blodgett combi oven did not heat at all today. Removed side panel. Hi limit is open. Reset. No visual marks on boards. Getting 13” wc coming in to oven. Turned on. Getting 3.6” wc going to burner. 24v to the pilot valve. Getting 24v to main valve. Burner came on. Set to steam mode. Heated to steam. Set to Hot Air mode. Heated ok. Set to combi mode. Steam works as well as hot air. Could not get hi limit to trip again. Back in service. Job complete. No one here to sign.
Arrived at location on 4/26/22 - Located Continental Warmer on far left making noises from fan. Fan spinning but loudly. Bearings are going. Need new blower. Will obtain return. Returned to location on 5/2/22 - Removed old blower and installed new. Took a while because the blower didn’t want to come out. Set thermostat to 180. Heated and maintains temp. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 3/30/22 - Claim is that unit controller is freezing up only in steam cycle. Removed left panel of unit and inspected components. No major problems were discovered. Accessed diagnostics bank and recovered zero error messages on display. Operated unit in steam cycle for a full cycle and observed. Unit operated properly and revealed no problems. Operated unit in combination mode and observed. Unit revealed no problems and functioned properly. Contacted manufacturer and left a brief message about unit for further assistance with this intermittent problem. Will wait for contact from manufacturer to determine how to move forward. Unit currently in service.
Arrived at location on 8/13/21 - to check Hobart mixer in main kitchen. Checked and found timer encoder bad. When increasing time, value would decrease and vice versa. Removed and replaced encoder assembly and checked operation okay. Mixer in operation.
Arrived onsite on 6/9/21 to check left Alto Shaam combioven. Tightened screws in outer door trim. Checked door sweep and found not staying in track. Sweep torn. Will order, return and replace. Returned to replace door sweep on newer Alto Shaam combioven. Proceeded and replaced door sweep. Adjusted and aligned sweep track so inner glass door closes properly. Combioven in service.
Found Convection Oven timer is not keeping temp right. Need to order timer/temperature control board and return for repair. Called parts department @ Blodget and got the part number. 10/30/19 Removed power from unit removed panels to get to controller. replaced controller and out back together and tested at 2 minutes. timed down exactly 2 minutes unit came to set point and cycled. unit back in service, unit operational, job complete.
Found Walk-In Freezer Unit not running high pressure safety tripped, reset control one of 2 condenser fan motors failed. Unit is cooling evaporator fans running temperature dropping. Cannot replace motor at this time due to staff and custodians leaving for the day. Will acquire replacement and return. 7/24/19 Follow up- Replaced condenser fan motor. Unit cooling properly box temperature -10F.
arrived on site to check top Middleby Marshall conveyor oven. customer doesn't have oven in operation. brought oven into operation and found during conveyor running, conveyor would slow and stop by immediately start again. proceeded and checked optical sensor okay on motor. checked speed controller and found extremely hot to touch. customer said that exhaust fan over ovens is currently out and that they are awaiting technician to repair that. replaced speed controller and display. brought oven into operation. set time on display to 6:21 and allowed oven to heat and run. conveyor running smoother. but, customer needs to get exhaust fan repaired. oven in service.
Top oven conveyor is now working . Customer said the conveyor switch was moving to much. and the numbers on the display would come on and off. Checked and motor brushes are ok. Chain is dry so I lubed it up . Open control panel and found the conveyor switch moves and a wire is pulling out because of it. Tighten down the switch and trimmed back the wire and secured it in the switch block. . Power on and conveyor come on and is ok. all tight now . no other problems. in service
Found - Reach-In Freezer Box temperature 26F compressor making slight ticking noise unplugged compressor suction line became hot coming out of Compressor. Discharge valves failed. Spoke with Scott he said they will replace unit due to age unit has R502.
Checked Dishwasher unit, found fill solenoid leaking, will obtain and return. Ann wants parts qwp (expedited freight). Unit operational but requires parts. 12/7/18 Removed panels, broke union on right side loose, couldn't get left side, had to cut pipe, took out to truck and got valve loose. Replaced with new, went to home depot for the/4" shark bite, put back together and tested filled and shut off then when it refilled it started to leak. Pulled apart and pulled a chunk of rust out from under plunger but back tested okay. Found leak at rinse tank element outer, tightened down and it stopped. Unit operational, job complete.
Found Walk in cooler Box temperature 35F - custodian said temperature has been fluctuating since Thursday, warmer in the morning. Checked condensing unit system slightly low charge. Tightened several loose service connections and recharged unit. Box temperature 34F. System cooling properly.
Cam lift door hinges worn out. Will order replacements & return. Tried replacing hinges but screws seized and won't come out. Lifted door off and replaced nylon cams from new hinges and adjusted door closer. Door closing properly. ** Travel Charges billed on WO#135273
Top left oven. Power on and have no gas error. No power to ignitor. Pulled out module and found a bent pin on gas valve . Bent it back and reinserted module onto valve. Test. Now ignitor lights and burner comes on. Run in steam and cycle a while . Ok. Run in hot air @ 400F a while & cycle. It did not fail. Back in service.
