Electric Fryer #4 vat ( l to r) customer said kept going into ignition failure randomly yesterday but has not done it at all today - first place I checked was the drain switch, found it bent, could not repair or adjust so I bypassed and let customer know, all okay.

Examined RIGHT FRYER unit, found off and cold. turned unit on, heated. when unit reached 317 degrees, unit popped very loudly like gunshot. examined blower motor, found not clogged and pulling good air flow. examined igniters and they spark well. no heat damage to ignition module. ignition wires in good shape, no cracks or missing insulation. checked gas pressure, found 3.5in WC static and dynamic. while igniters were pulled, examined faces of burners on both side and could not see any definitive damage to burners. possible leak at burner gaskets or damage not able to be seen from looking through igniter holes. heat relay has burned contacts, replaced with unit on truck. Customer would like quote to replace both burner gaskets and separate quote to replace both burners with gaskets. Note: quoting additional repairs, closing out this work order.
