Replace existing pumping system with a Grundfos constant pressure system using a variable frequency drive (CU301) and an SQE series well pump. Install a 4.4 gallon well tank on a stainless steel manifold and replace the well wire with12/2 flat jacket.
Install a Clack iron filtration system with 1.5 cubic feet of Katalox iron removal media. Provide all media, bypass valves and drain line to complete the installation.
- Install a 1Hp 230V Myers stainless steel submersible well pump - Install a 230V Pentair PID (variable frequency drive) controller - Install a stainless steel manifold package - Install a WX102 buffer tank - Remove and dispose of old well tank, replumb existing as required for installation of the manifold package
Install a regenerative backwashing iron filtration system with Katalox media, bypass valves and all associated fittings. A discount of $220 has been applied as a concession for the delayed water testing. This is a cost not to exceed proposal and there will be no add to this number.
Replace the existing pumping system with a new constant pressure system - Install a 2HP pump, Pentair PID driver, new manifold and a new well tank - Replace well pipe and well cable (wire in the well)with schedule 120 PVC and 10/2 flat double jacket wire. - Provide all labor, materials and equipment. Dispose of old equipment.
Based on the water field test results of PH 6.2 and hardness 14 grains we advise installation of: - 48,000 Grain (48K) Clack regenerative and metered water softener complete with a WS1 digital filter valve, brine tank, by-pass valves and all associated fittings. 200 lbs. Of solar salt are included (4 bags x 50lbs.) - Install a Clack regenerative acid neutralizer with a WS1 filter valve w/by-pass valves and a 10 x 54 dome hole tank. 80/20 Calcite Corosex mixed media is specified in order to rebalance the acidic water to a targeted PH of 7. Clack products are work horses in the industry and have a five (5) year manufacturers warranty (Hardware only. Media is not warrantied). Our workmanship is warrantied for as long as I am breathing and beyond. WS1 filter valves have 8 hour battery backups for memory retention. Install a Grundfos SQE series 1/2 HP variable frequency well pump with a CU301 VFD controller, stainless steel manifold and a WellExtrol 4.4 gallon buffering tank. Provide all labor and materials for the project including wire, pipe, new well seal and incidentals. Generally speaking, projects of this nature are completed n a time and materials basis and this proposal is for budgeting purposes. In my professional experience it is relatively accurate. Nevertheless, it is subject to change.
Replace existing 1HP submersible pump in-kind and with new well wire and pipe. - For purposes of this estimate we are assuming a pump set depth of 320' and the linear foot pricing of the well wire and pipe may vary. - Given the age of this system we will replace the well wire and we will be prepared to replace the well pipe. Note: A typical pipe specification in the era would be either schedule 80 PVC or galvanized pipe. Galvanized and sch. 80 pipe that is more then 15 years old is prone to leakage and failure. New pipe is included in this proposal and in the event the pipe does not require replacement the line item will be deleted. - The well will be chlorinated and a new well pump control box will be installed. - Our crane truck will be used to extract and set the pump(s).
