Just wrapped up an emergency service call in Clarence. Customer's whole-house carbon filter was leaking from the control valve and bypassing untreated water. Upon inspection, found damaged O-rings and a cracked valve body likely caused by recent pressure fluctuations in their neighborhood. Replaced the entire control valve assembly, installed new O-rings, and performed a comprehensive system check. Also cleaned out sediment that had accumulated in the pre-filter housing – it was completely clogged! No wonder they were experiencing low pressure. Ran the system through multiple regeneration cycles to ensure proper operation and verified no leaks. System is now functioning properly with correct pressure readings. Customer was extremely happy with the quick response time (under 2 hours from call) and thorough explanation. Left them with spare pre-filters and a maintenance schedule to prevent future issues.
