All done with the annual maintenance on the Kinetico system in Youngstown! System's been running strong for 5+ years but definitely needed some TLC. Changed out all the standard filters - the sediment pre-filter was SUPER clogged (showed customer - they couldn't believe how much crud it caught!). Cleaned and sanitized all housings and replaced the UV bulb which was approaching end of life. The softener resin bed was still in good shape but I went ahead and cleaned the injector and brine line since they were showing some mineral buildup. Also fixed that small leak on the salt tank overflow that they mentioned - just needed to reseat the connection. Did complete water testing afterward - iron down to non-detectable levels and hardness perfect at 3 gpg. Everything's running like new again! Left them extra filters as requested and set a reminder for next year's service.
