I called for service on Father's Day 2015. Within an hour the technician was at my hour, and 30 minutes later my air conditioner was working. And the repairman was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly people I've ever met. I've given 5 stars for all but pricing. That's because there was a slight premium to pay for emergency service on a weekend. For me, that premium was well worth it. And I was informed about that when I called in my service request, so it was no surprise. This is my first experience with Clear the Air Cooling & Heating and I am very impressed.

Called on Friday afternoon, he was here in 30 minutes, quoted the job, wrote the contract and was all done in about an hour. Just had our first quarterly service call, in and out in an hour , maybe less. Very nice to deal with. Will recommend them to everyone!

Finished a complete air duct cleaning at a 25-year-old home in Pasadena today. Wow! These ducts hadn't been cleaned since the house was built. Used our high-powered vacuum system and rotary brushes to remove heavy dust buildup, several dead insects, and found a child's toy car that had been lost years ago (homeowner got a good laugh from that). Also discovered and sealed three leaky duct sections that were allowing attic air into the system. Removed approximately 5 pounds of dust and debris from the entire system! Homeowner has two kids with allergies, so this should make a big difference for them. Air quality meter showed immediate improvement after service. Left them with new filters and showed them how to properly change them every month. They were amazed at how much cleaner the air felt immediately after service. Great job that will really improve their indoor air quality.
I installed a smart thermostat today, upgrading from an older manual model. After shutting off power to the HVAC system, I carefully labeled and disconnected the existing wiring, then mounted the new wall plate and connected the appropriate wires to their designated terminals. I configured the smart thermostat to work with the home's specific heating and cooling systems, connected it to the home's WiFi network, and walked the homeowner through the basic features of their new device. I also helped set up the mobile app and demonstrated how to create custom schedules for optimal energy savings.
HVAC Repairs: Arrived to service an inoperable HVAC system. Upon inspection of the client's HVAC system, I identified issues with the high-pressure switch, leading to system shutdowns. I replaced the faulty high-pressure switch to prevent system shutdowns and ensure continuous operation.

Furnace Repair and Service: Upon receiving a homeowner's report of a strange odor from their furnace, our examination pinpointed a dirty and clogged burner assembly as the source. We executed a thorough cleaning and realignment of the burner assembly, eliminating the odor issue. The furnace was restored to optimal working condition, providing clean and odor-free warmth. We advised the homeowner on the significance of regular furnace maintenance for prolonged efficiency.
