Performed silver club heater maintenance. Filter was clogged and causing limit switches on elements to trip. Replace filter. Test capacitor and motor amp draw. Amp draw in range. Test sequencers, relays in limits. All are in working order. Amp draw to 1 side is slightly elevated but in working order. Breaker could be in a little better condition. Spoke to customer about it. Customer will replace breaker if needed. Unit is putting out 120f heat. Heater is working properly at this time.

Arrived to no cool service call performed system evaluation. Found system frozen up solid. Unthawed unit. Found system low on r22 refrigerant. Spoke to customer at this time customer chose to add refrigerant to system. With customer approval I added 1lb 13 oz to system. System is cooling at this time. System is starting to show signs of age if becomes low on refrigerant in near future suggest leak repair or consider system replacement due to age and condition. System is cooling at this time.
I arrived for a non member cooling to much call. I first inspected the indoor furnace and found the systems to be running with the thermostat to be calling for cooling. I removed the doors to the furnace and the door switch turned the system off. I turned the thermostat to the off position and supplied powerful back to the furniture. I cycled the system four times from the thermostat and found the system to shut off and turn on when told to. I could not inspect the evaporator coil due to the evaporator box is installed in a plywood and metal box around the evaporator coil box. I recommend to have the system repaired before any further issue present it’s self in the future this system is 26 years old. I inspected the condenser and found the systems to be running and the high side schrader core to be broken and was leaking refegerant once I remove the cap. I tried to remove and replaced the schrader core but it will not remove. I tightened the cap back down on the high side king valve
Arrived to service call performed system evaluation. Customer changes filters regularly. Condenser clean. Tested capacitor and compressor amp draw. Refrigerant levels in range. Amp draw on condenser motor was over amping and from the sounds the problem customer was describing sounds like defrost board was intermittently sticking. Customer stated system was on heat and condenser was running but fan was not and top was burning hot. As a precaution i replaced both parts. System heating and cooling at time.
I came out for a no cool. I checked the system over and found the condenser fan not running. One of the wires that control the universal fan direction had broken loose. With approval I repaired the wire and secured it, so it stays out of the fan blade. I washed the condenser coil as well. I cycled the ac and checked all operations. The ac was a bit undercharged. She’s aware the system has a leak. I added 1.4lbs or r410a and set the SH to the required 30. All working at this time.
New heat and air system. Compressor broke. Best solution to save money on HVAC parts.
