I am a 30+ year customer of Mega Solutions. When my 12 y/o HVAC roof mount package unit died Oct 2, I knew I would be in trusted hands throughout the process of choosing the best unit to fit my needs. All was assessed & considered without having to make a rushed decision. The Mega Solutions team from office staff to field technicians went above & beyond to accommodate my scheduling preferences & assist me in little disruption to my routine. Due to my health & physical limitations, my expressed concerns were listened to & resolved. I & my aging dog were able to remain in my handicap accessible home. Mega set up a no charge loaner for my bedroom (87 degrees @8pm). Toby, Manny, & Mark arrived @6:30 am the next day to install 2 window units Toby picked up for me to cool the great room. How fortunate & blessed by to have professionals who provide expertise, excellent service & caring hearts.

Flame sensor needed to be replaced unit is now operational also performed heating maintenance and recommended customer to start thinking on a new unit since this existing unit is 19 years old and drain pan is rotting out will eventually cause water damage heat exchanger in ok condition and rusting but do recommend changing unit for longer functionality Current unit is 80 % furnace in attic 5 ton unit 2600 sq ft home blown insulation will need to take off staircase to take out old furnace return air is good r22 unit Recommend new line set with line set cover Single story home double pane windows good insulation in attic
Circuit board is constantly flowing 120v to blower motor even when 24v signal isn’t present. Removed g wire from thermostat & circuit board even though I wasn’t getting the 24v signal & blower was still receiving 120v. Mentioned to renter the circuit board needs to be replaced but he said the land lord would take care of it, no other issues to report.
Completed heating tune up. Noticed inducer motor was slightly over amping, mentioned this to customer & he said if he had any issues he’d call. Other than that everything checked out good to go, no other issues to report. Erik placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.

Completed heating tune up. Capacitor for blower motor was below 10% mark, recommended replacement but customer said they would call if they experienced any issues. Two units have bad capacitor and blower wheel on one of them had mold so I got approval to replace capacitors and clean blower wheel. Completed heating tune up on all units.

Duct cleaning to remove dust, dirt, debris, and other contaminants from the ductwork. Application of a disinfectant to eliminate mold, bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms that may be present within the ducts. Cleaning of air vents and registers to prevent the recontamination of the ducts. Completed duct cleaning and spoke to customer not home she stated to leave house open Sent estimate for uv light and mega membership
Thermostat not allowing heating sequence to complete. Jumped it at the circuit board & system came on & stayed on. Removed head of thermostat & jumped it at the backing of the thermostat & heating came on & stayed on until I removed jumper. Thermostat needs to be replaced. Customer said they would replace it themselves. No other issues to report.
System operational Thermostat was set to a low setting and was not heating the desired area Inspected entire heating system checked pressures and is good to go Advised Chris to set thermostat to higher setting when temperatures drastically drop to 30-20 degrees at night outdoor temp no charge system is operational
