Hands down the best HVAC company in Odessa and surrounding area. I like that the technicians call/text before arriving and Brenda schedules service as soon as possible. Manny has been my technician on past occasions. He is so knowledgeable, thorough, takes great pride in his work and is always friendly and polite. He doesn’t leave until he checks that he has done everything needed and has answered all my questions. Thank you, Manny. I will continue to call Mega Solutions in the future if needed. Highly recommend.

I am a 30+ year customer of Mega Solutions. When my 12 y/o HVAC roof mount package unit died Oct 2, I knew I would be in trusted hands throughout the process of choosing the best unit to fit my needs. All was assessed & considered without having to make a rushed decision. The Mega Solutions team from office staff to field technicians went above & beyond to accommodate my scheduling preferences & assist me in little disruption to my routine. Due to my health & physical limitations, my expressed concerns were listened to & resolved. I & my aging dog were able to remain in my handicap accessible home. Mega set up a no charge loaner for my bedroom (87 degrees @8pm). Toby, Manny, & Mark arrived @6:30 am the next day to install 2 window units Toby picked up for me to cool the great room. How fortunate & blessed by to have professionals who provide expertise, excellent service & caring hearts.

Completed heating tune up, everything checked out good with no issues to report. Did not want to participate in yard sign promotion. Comfort survey already filled.
Inspected electric heat and breaker was tripped, out west pump jacks in the area may have caused power surge Tested heat after resetting breaker everything operational Customer will go by office to pay
Heating tune up completed on (4) 90% furnaces all flame sensors needed to be cleaned out and had to adjust gas pressure to 3.5” w/c Cleaned all heater sections with pressurized air and wet rags then sprayed ac shine All units operational on heat Heating tune up completed on rtu trane unit electric heat operational no issues Changed out all filters and washed off mini split filters and condenser Someone installed surge protectors on all 90% furnaces not sure who installed these. Closet unit surge protector has only one light lit (LED 3) Will get with Toby
Completed heating tune ups for both systems, customer mentioned thermostat for garage unit wouldn’t shut off after satisfying temperature for heating, noticed the tech settings had it set to gas heat on an air handler & had a schedule as well. Swapped it over to electric heat & removed schedule & system cycled on & off as temperature was met. Noticed on hallway unit coil seemed to have oil looking stains inside evaporator coil mentioned it to customer & it’d be something to keep an eye on for next spring. Other than that everything checked out good on heating side. No other issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
Completed heating tune ups for both systems. East unit in hallway had a capacitor for the blower motor below 10% mark. Recommend replacing it. The west unit in the attic had a really old thermostat that won’t shut off when it satisfies the temperature on the thermostat. Recommend replacing it as well. Caretaker said she would like if we matched it with the one we replaced for the hallway unit which was a T701i WiFi thermostat. Sent both estimates for just the capacitor replacement & another including the capacitor & thermostat. Mentioned that once we heard back from Mark (son) then we could proceed with replacements if & when he signs off on the estimates. Other than that the units were heating properly. No other issues to report.
Duct cleaning to remove dust, dirt, debris, and other contaminants from the ductwork. Application of a disinfectant to eliminate mold, bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms that may be present within the ducts. Cleaning of air vents and registers to prevent the recontamination of the ducts.
Completed heating tune up, blower wheel was a little dirty, recommended cleaning but he wasn’t interested. Besides that everything checked out good on heating side. No other issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
Unit was heating properly, didn’t find any issues. Wife mentioned unit had shut off 2 degrees prematurely before meeting temp on thermostat. Tested heater a couple times to make sure it wouldn’t shut off before meeting temp & it didn’t. Mentioned to give us a call if & when it happens again so we can check for codes before they reset it. No issues to report.
Completed heating tune up, capacitor for blower motor was below 10% mark. Recommended replacing it & homeowner agreed. Replaced capacitor. Blower wheel was also dirty, sent an estimate for cleaning it. Other than that everything checked out good to go. No other issues to report.
System has a little over 2 tons of return air for a 5 ton system. Needs to have more return added to avoid any issues with system.
Tested airflow & pressures before capping return to bedroom with concrete exposed & after capping returns & there was no difference both on airflow & pressures. System has plenty of return even if the bedroom returns with concrete exposure were to be capped off. No issues to report.
Main gas valve outside office was shut off from when gas company rerouted their city meter. Opened valve back up & twin furnaces began heating again. No other issues to report.
Completed heating tune up, everything checked out good to go with no issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
Heating maintenance completed on 5 Rtu 2 furnaces and 3 heat pumps Gas pressures had to be adjusted on gas valves for Lennox and daikon units Cleaned flame sensors and blowed out heater sections with pressurized air Heat exchanger on daikon units Cleaned flame is starting to build rust but no carbon monoxide detected on supply Will have to change unit in the near future if there is carbon monoxide present Heat pump #2 had a leaking capacitor and was reading 0/15 mfd Swapped out and tested heat pump Heat is operational now on oxbox #2 Oxbox #1 and #2 are on great working order no issues to report on those units Blowed out all heater sections and service section with pressurized air to maintain clean connections at circuit boards and gas orifice’s for proper heat functionality
Completed heating tune up, blower wheel was really dirty, recommended cleaning & sent estimate. Capacitor for blower motor was really low, rated 7.5mfd & reading 1.6, replaced it with customers approval. Other than that everything checked out good to go. No other issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
