Our AC quit working bc of some work done by our contractors workers. We weren’t sure what was going on with it. I called at 2:18 and scheduled an appointment for 4-6 for same day service. The tech called me at 2:43 to see if we were available for him to come head to our house. They figured out that it was a fuse that was blown and it was about 30 minutes and they had our AC working. Both technicians were nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely call them in the future for any service needs!

Unit was slightly undercharged from last repairs, causing condenser to lock out due to low pressure switch engaging. I had taken some refrigerant out due to over charging it at first then completed heating maintenance but never checked cooling side. I doubled checked the lines, condenser coil & evaporator coil for oil stains & leak detected everything & didn’t pick up anything. I told customer it was more than likely just under charged & went ahead & charged it up without charging him for it due to it being a mistake on my end. Mentioned if it were to happen again then we would need to do a more in depth assessment & see if there’s maybe a pin hole in the lines or in either coil. Again I didn’t find any obvious signs of a leak. Unit was functioning properly & not shutting off from low pressure switch again after charging it up.
Completed both heating tune ups. Noticed they didn’t have filters for either system, he was wondering if we could add a case of 20x20x1 filters to their PO. Sent estimate for filter case. Mentioned I would get with the office so we could get that for them. Noticed on the front office system the blower motor was slightly over amping, it would be something to keep an eye on if it ever stops blowing it’s because the motor went out. Other than that everything checked out good to go. No other issues to report.

Igniter was dirty not allowing the heating sequence to complete. Cleaned off the igniter & unit began heating again. Noticed the exchangers were really rusted, we’ll have to keep an eye on it so it’s not cracked. Other than that everything checked out good.
Still waiting to receive part to install. 1- REPLACEMENT EVAPORTER COIL FOR YORK SYSTEM DUE TO REFRIGERANT LEAKS 17 lbs of 410a charged on system Bill out and send invoice
Valve stem was leaking, replaced it & system needs to be charged up due to low pressure switch cutting condenser out. Changed out valve stem & charged the system up with 10lbs of 410a on the 5 ton system. Completed both heating tune ups after that & noticed the capacitor for the condenser on the 2.5 ton system was just barely below the 10% mark. Recommended changing it out but they wanted to wait until they had issues. Blower wheel on 2.5 ton system was also dirty & recommended cleaning it as well but they would think it over. Besides that everything checked out good to go with no other issues to report.

V belt (A50) was changed on kitchen unit.
They were changing filters inside store but filters inside the package unit were really dirty & hadn’t been changed out since install. Recommended just changing them inside the store on the filter grills. Took out old filters from inside unit & left them out. Unit was freezing due to dirty filters. Pressures & temperatures looked good to go. No other issues to report.

Completed heating maintenance for 3 systems. All systems were operating properly. Only recommendation would be to change filters more often due to dirtiness & can eventually cause systems to freeze, besides that everything checked out good to go. No issues to report. Updated filter count (4) 20x20x1.
Completed heating tune up, gave an estimate for a blower wheel cleaning due to dirtiness. Homeowner also stated that their system began freezing yesterday & today. Checked pressures/temperatures after completing heating tune up & everything checked out fine, cause of freezing was a dirty filter. Replaced it with a 2” filter. Recommended keeping up with filter changes to prevent it from happening again. No other issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled out comfort survey.
