Our AC quit working bc of some work done by our contractors workers. We weren’t sure what was going on with it. I called at 2:18 and scheduled an appointment for 4-6 for same day service. The tech called me at 2:43 to see if we were available for him to come head to our house. They figured out that it was a fuse that was blown and it was about 30 minutes and they had our AC working. Both technicians were nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely call them in the future for any service needs!

Transformer was bad on the 24v side. Not passing power to the circuit board. Changed out the transformer & the unit began cooling. No other issues to report.
Compressor was overheating & shutting off due to bad fan motor on the condenser. Went ahead & changed it out & unit is cooling again. Pressures seemed a bit high but it could’ve been due to the temperature inside the home. No other issues to report.
Compressor was grounded out as per previous company that diagnosed it last. Checked for myself & it was confirmed. Unit says it was manufactured in 2014 but is R-22. Mentioned to the store manager there are no longer parts for R-22 units & would need a complete new system. Will get with Toby for an estimate.

Completed cooling tune up, dual capacitor was below the 10% mark so I recommended replacing it but the home owner stated as long as the unit was running it was ok. She stated they would wait until they have issues to replace parts. Other than that no issues to report.

Unit froze up. Waited for it to defrost and turned unit on. Package unit is cooling and pressure are good. Filters are also goods. Thermostat showing 80 when actual temp is 73. Replaced thermostat.

Completed cooling tune ups for 3 systems, 2 of 3 looked good. The master bedroom system looked a little low on refrigerant, checked for leaks & everything looked good, I mentioned to the customer it could be when they installed that system they never charged it up correctly due to having long line sets. She said she would schedule next years tune up when it’s warmer so we could accurately check pressures to see if that was the case. No other issues to report.
