We thank you for sharing your positive experience. It made our day.
Drain pan had a bunch of snot like buildup, homeowner was wondering why it would happen so soon again & mentioned because of the build up inside the drain pan. Cleared out the drain pan with vacuum & then purged the line with nitrogen to ensure it was cleared properly. Removed a 90 pvc fitting & replaced it with a pvc tee & stack & cap. Mentioned he could pour a mixture of vinegar & water every time he changed filter & it was draining properly after doing so. No other issues to report.
Replaced motor and completed a/c tune up. Also added a pound of refrigerant. Has leak in the indoor coil.
Could not complete a/c tune up. Blower motor is bad. Ordered part and should come in Thursday or Friday
Completed cooling tune ups for 9 split systems & washed off 2 mini split condenser coils. Pool house system had a bad circuit board & compressor grounded. Barn dominium party room system had a bad leak on the evaporator coil system had no refrigerant at all. All airhandlers inside the main home need float switches due to them being in the attic. One pan had water & rust inside the pan. Other than that the systems that were cooling were cooling properly, no other issues to report.
Customer had someone go out last night. Canceled
Let the customer know I didn’t feel comfortable replacing condenser fan motor in the rain. Also contactor got wet and started to spark so I stopped working on it. Customer wants to schedule for Thursday after 4. Has an r-22 as well so it could possibly need replacement.
Completed cooling tune ups for both upstairs & downstairs, everything looked good to go on the upstairs unit. The downstairs had pressures/temperatures reading lower than normal. Couldn’t see any oil stains on the condenser but when I checked the evaporator coil it had a dark black spot on the edge of the coil. Took pictures & showed the customer & mentioned they don’t make coils for R-22 anymore & the only thing we could do is add refrigerant but it would eventually leak. She said she’d keep an eye on it to see if it struggles in the near future & go from there, no other issues to report.
Customer didn’t know there was another filter to change, took out filter and pressures got better but of course coil is dirty and still affecting pressures recommended cleaning customer said he would take care of it.
Home owners friend that was house sitting was was trying to control the temperature off the alarm system, & thermostat on alarm system was malfunctioning. Mentioned the thermostat was around the corner & turned the temperature down on the actual thermostat & the unit began cooling instantly. No issues to report.
Contactor was burnt up & condenser fan motor had a bad capacitor. Swapped out both & the unit began cooling properly again. No other issues to report.
Unit just needed drain cleared. Other than that good to go
Completed cooling tune up, everything checked out good to go. No issues to report.
Dual capacitor was bad, changed it out then checked pressures. Pressures were low & evaporator coil was frozen. Thawed it out then found the leak with my camera. Mentioned I could charge it up to get him by until I get him the estimate for the coil replacement. Went ahead & added 4lbs of 410A & signed up 2 systems on memberships. No other issues to report.
Upon arrival unit was running with thermostat on. Did a full diagnostic of the system and didn’t see any signs of disturbance. Tightened connections and called it good
Completed cooling tune up, condenser was pretty caked up with dirt, other than that everything else looked good to go, no other issues to report.
