I am a 30+ year customer of Mega Solutions. When my 12 y/o HVAC roof mount package unit died Oct 2, I knew I would be in trusted hands throughout the process of choosing the best unit to fit my needs. All was assessed & considered without having to make a rushed decision. The Mega Solutions team from office staff to field technicians went above & beyond to accommodate my scheduling preferences & assist me in little disruption to my routine. Due to my health & physical limitations, my expressed concerns were listened to & resolved. I & my aging dog were able to remain in my handicap accessible home. Mega set up a no charge loaner for my bedroom (87 degrees @8pm). Toby, Manny, & Mark arrived @6:30 am the next day to install 2 window units Toby picked up for me to cool the great room. How fortunate & blessed by to have professionals who provide expertise, excellent service & caring hearts.

I have to say that Toby got back to me quickly this morning; Tuesday, from my texting asking for help Monday Night after Bible Study. I came home to a hot house with the AC blowing hot air. Many friends texted giving me instructions; turn off AC to melt the frost and ice. Worked. Next morning, I had cool air. Still wanted to keep my appointment with Mega Care; Joshua. Joshua was thorough, and efficient. He checked the coils in the attic, cleaned out the outside condenser and added freon, and replaced a part on the outside condenser. Totally impressed. He took the time to explain everything well. I understood everything. Will definitely be calling back for annual service. Thanks Toby. You and your people are awesome!!! God given. God bless you all.

Thermostat needed to be calibrated Was not reading accurate temp on screen No charge
Customer needs circuit board on indoor unit and 20 mfd capacitor will need to order circuit board through Goodman manufacture talked to owner of home and was okay with ordering circuit board Bill out
Dip switches needed to be adjusted no charge to customer
Completed heating tune up, Rh wire on thermostat wasn’t making good contact not allowing the heating call to be completed. Tightened it down & unit began heating again. Everything else checked out good to go with no other issues to report.

RE-CONNECTION OF 6" SUPPLY FLEX DUCT TO MAIN SYSTEM OF HOME 2.) DESIGNATED ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT TO OUTDOOR UNIT 3.) REMOVAL OF EXISTING A/C EQUIPMENT FROM THE PREMISES 4.) NEW REFRIGERANT LINE SET
Completed heating tune up, thermostat was out causing 5amp fuse to pop instantly. Bypassed it so I could complete tune up. Capacitor for blower motor was also out of 10% range. Informed customer & he said to just replace the capacitor & he would take care of the thermostat. Also let him know he needed a 5amp fuse due to the one in circuit board being burnt. Other than that the heating is functioning properly. No other issues to report.
Completed heating tune up, capacitor for blower motor was still below 10% mark from when I did ac tune up in June. Recommended replacing again but she said her husband would take care of it. Besides that everything checked out good on the heating side. No other issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
Circuit board was bad & continues popping fuse. Needs to be replaced Got the board replaced & heating turned on just fine. Set system to cooling & blower came on but not the compressor. Checked ohms on the contactor & it was bad. Recommended replacing or they wouldn’t have cooling & he agreed. Replaced the contactor & system began cooling again. No other issues to report.
Inducer motor housing/exhaust pipe was stopped up with a birds nest. Removed the birds nest & heating began functioning properly again. Noticed some rust on the heat exchanger but not cracks were found. Besides that everything else checked out good to go. No other issues to report.
Completed heating tune up, capacitor for the blower motor was below 10% mark. Recommended replacing it & Alex approved replacement. Besides that everything checked out good to go with no other issues to report.
Thermostat wire was corroded on the roof at the wire nuts. Cut back wires & rewired them & taped them to prevent corrosion from sun. Turned unit on at the thermostat & system began heating again. No other issues to report.
Thermostat was bad on the heating side only calls for cooling & not for heating, replaced thermostat & heating began cooling properly again. No other issues to report.
Thermostat was broken due to customer accidentally breaking it, replaced it with his own supplied thermostat & unit began functioning properly again. No other issues to report.
Flame sensor was rusted out & capacitor for blower motor is below 10% mark. Replaced both parts & unit is still shutting off after running for about a minute or 2 then repeats the cycle. Checked all sensors & switches & everything was still good. Circuit board most likely out again. Will need to check warranty on it & availability. Toby will give estimate for system replacement as well. Customer said they replaced just the condenser this summer. System is 410a. No other issues to report.
Prayer room old carrier unit is recommended to be replaced carbon monoxide detected 2-5 ppm on service side of heater and on vent pipe will talk to Toby about replacement draft induced unit A lot of rust and what looks like cracked heat exchanger
