I am a 30+ year customer of Mega Solutions. When my 12 y/o HVAC roof mount package unit died Oct 2, I knew I would be in trusted hands throughout the process of choosing the best unit to fit my needs. All was assessed & considered without having to make a rushed decision. The Mega Solutions team from office staff to field technicians went above & beyond to accommodate my scheduling preferences & assist me in little disruption to my routine. Due to my health & physical limitations, my expressed concerns were listened to & resolved. I & my aging dog were able to remain in my handicap accessible home. Mega set up a no charge loaner for my bedroom (87 degrees @8pm). Toby, Manny, & Mark arrived @6:30 am the next day to install 2 window units Toby picked up for me to cool the great room. How fortunate & blessed by to have professionals who provide expertise, excellent service & caring hearts.

Gas pressure was too high & cutting off the heating when the panel was on. Adjusted it to the manufacturer’s specifications & system was heating without shutting off with the panel on. Noticed there was a gas smell so I began checking carbon monoxide with my meter & immediately was getting 25ppm & above in the closet. Vent pipe had a hole on the back side from rusting out. Saw there was also tape falling off where a draft hood should’ve been & they had cut it & “fit the edges” around the exhaust & taped over it. Customer wants an estimate to replace the entire vent pipe. Signed up for membership.
Power outages have been frequent in the area recently Recommended surge protector to protect units and was not interested heat is operational no charge

Gas valve was receiving 24v signal from circuit board but valve wasn’t opening. Gas valve is bad. Needs to be replaced. Will send estimate for replacement tomorrow. No other issues to report.
Completed heating tune up. Blower wheel was really dirty, recommended cleaning it & sent estimate as well. Other than that everything checked out good to go with no other issues to report. Renewed membership. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
Thermostat was uncalibrated & reading higher than what temperature actually is inside home & rising faster than it should realistically causing heating sequence to cycle on & off faster than how it should. Thermostat was replaced. (T705) Only has heater working. They ended up going with a minisplit for the other side of the house, only furnace works. Completed heating maintenance & will only do heating maintenance when we come out. Signed up for membership Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.

Heat sequencers needed to be replaced not engaging and turning on heat System is now operational after changing 20kw sequencers
Gas was shut off to the house, nothing I could do since it had a lock on it. I was getting power to all components for heating sequence but since no gas was coming through it wouldn’t ever heat. Recommended calling gas company to check why they shut it off. Besides that no other issues to report.
Wires going to plug from igniter were taped & loose, not making a good connection. Wire nutted them together & igniter came on. Tested heating after & thermostat wasn’t allowing call for heat to complete. Replaced the head only & it was doing the same thing. Replaced the backing & head & system began heating properly again. No other issues to report.
Nest thermostat was set to heat pump when Lowe’s installed it. Factory reset thermostat & set it to electric heat only & system began heating properly again. No other issues to report.
Transformer was burnt & air handler had a 20amp fuse in place of 3amp. Replaced both with customers approval. Turned system on & noticed 1 wire for the second set of heat strips was left out. Wired it back in & began checking heat. The contactor that was originally wired in began smoking at the 24v coil. The other contactor that I wired in was working just fine. Replaced contactor that began smoking & both heat strips began working just fine. System is heating properly again. No other issues to report.
Completed heating tune up, blower wheel was a little dirty, sent estimate for cleaning. Besides that everything checked out good to go with no other issues to report. Placed yard sign & filled comfort survey.
Removed duct seal from filter slide so owner would be able to slide off cover to replace filters. Said he would get filters himself. Other than that no issues to report.
