A customer's 3-year-old Lennox gas system was blowing cold air. After cleaning a dirty flame sensor, we restored heating. We also found a minor PVC leak, rust spots, and improper leveling, recommending corrective actions.
Performed a heating diagnostic for a new customer's home after their Lennox gas furnace began blowing cold air despite the system running. We cleaned a dirty flame sensor to restore heat and verified proper operation while also noting a minor PVC exhaust leak, multiple rust spots, and drainage concerns in the attic-installed unit. Recommendations were provided to relevel the furnace for proper condensate drainage, replace the furnace condensate trap, and install an additional trap for the evaporator coil to help prevent future shutdowns and water-related issues.
