We performed a critical repair on Sebastian's York AC and air handler system in King of Prussia, PA, addressing issues of freezing and ceiling leaks in the 10-year-old equipment. The technician initially turned off the system to defrost it, later diagnosing it as low on refrigerant. They found no devices to prevent condensation line blockages and a safety concern with the outdoor unit's disconnect box. The technician rewired the disconnect, installed new fuses, recharged the system with R410a freon, added an internal leak sealer, and implemented a cleanable P-trap with a blockage sensor. Our customer was highly satisfied, giving it a 5-star review and signing up for the comfort club for ongoing maintenance. Photos documented the process and improvements.
