Logged in to the customer's WordPress backend and enabled Cloudflare Turnstile (captcha) on all forms on the website. Additionally, enabled Akismet IP filtering based on the global blacklist. This should drastically cut down on spam submitted via public website forms.

Enabled the user account and created a Temporary Access Pass to enable access to the former employee's account for data retrieval. Removed all prior MFA methods and reset the password to ensure the real user themselves could not gain access to the account.
Installed the Remote Desktop Licensing role on the RDS/RemoteApp server. Purchased a retail pack of 5 Remote Desktop User CALs for Windows Server 2022. Then, installed the license key on the server. The evaluation warning disappeared and we are good to go.

The final computer has been successfully moved off of the Server and the server has been shut down.
Migrated RD Gateway to the new server, this time implementing MFA via Microsoft Authenticator with a Network Policy Server extension rather than using Duo.
Transferred the data from the old laptop to the new laptop.
Setup new monitor and reconnected the computer and monitor.
