The homeowner called me to install a dedicated 50 amp GFCI-protected circuit for an EV charging receptacle in the garage, as they recently purchased an electric vehicle and needed a safe, code-compliant charging setup. There was no existing circuit capable of handling the required load, so I ran new wiring and conduit from the main panel, installed a GFCI breaker for protection, and mounted a NEMA 14-50 receptacle to match the EV charger's plug. After testing the installation for safety and performance, the EV charger is now fully supported and ready for reliable home charging.
I was called to install a new electrical circuit and receptacle to provide power for additional equipment. I ran new wiring from the main panel, installed a dedicated breaker, and added a properly rated receptacle at the desired location. After securing all connections and testing the circuit, everything is functioning safely and up to code.
I was called to install a switch off an existing circuit to control a new outlet. After assessing the current wiring, I safely connected the switch to the existing circuit and installed the outlet at the desired location. Once everything was wired and secured, I tested the switch and outlet to ensure they functioned correctly, providing easy control of the outlet's power.
I was called to address several outlets that were not functioning properly. After diagnosing the issue, I found some outlets had loose connections or damaged wiring. I replaced the faulty outlets, ensured all connections were secure, and tested each one to confirm proper operation. The outlets are now working safely and reliably, providing power as needed.
I was called to replace a faulty breaker that was causing power issues in the home. After turning off the main power and ensuring safety, I removed the old breaker and installed a new one of the correct rating for the circuit. I tested the circuit to ensure the new breaker was functioning properly and that everything was safely restored to full operation.
