I recommend JMK Plumbing! The service from setting up appointment to diagnosing the problem and getting estimate was great. The scheduler demonstrated great customer service and called ahead before each appointment to give time frame if plumbers on the way. They were flexible to reschedule due to power outage and gave solutions to our plumbing issues. Highly recommend!

Braden came out and met Charles. Charles had an issue with no hot water in the home and was interested in making some improvements on his shower upstairs. He let us know that he sometimes runs out of hot water when he is doing laundry. Tankless wasn’t an option due to having a lot of uncertainty where we can vent the appliance. His tank had one month left on warranty so we encouraged him to purchase and have a new water heater installed. We presented him options and he chose option 2 going with good leap. Charles also became a Spartan shield member! We are doing the water heater same day and we will schedule the the shower work upstairs on Monday morning 3/6/23. We also found that the pressure reducing valve had failed and also the expansion tank has failed. We let Charles know that this is most likely why his tank failed. - Install a new 50 gallon tank water heater with a great warranty at 6 years. - Get hot water running fast with. - Add on a “tank booster” to add up to 35% more

Upon arriving Nick was told of a water softner that was old and Jordan needed a estimate to replace the unit. Nick did a water test and the water is very hard and a 30k unit is recommended to replace the existing. Nick was also told of an issue with the floor drain backing up and getting the utility room wet. Nick presented multiple options and as of now Jordan would like just the floor drain cleaned out and the estimate sent to email. Nick cleaned the floor drain in basement at a discounted rate the line had grease in it and a small nut that Nick was able to remove also Nick noticed the riser to the drain was cut down to allow hvac condensation to drain and noticed it to be a shallow drain and if it is overwhelmed with water it will come over the floor level and you would notice water. The line is draining.

Upon arrival Brian showed Nick the employee restroom in the southwest part of the building and the sewage back up out of the floor drain. Nick checked other restrooms by the pharmacy and the front customer restrooms and found them to be ok. Nick checked the riser room and found two floor drains backed up associated with the restroom drain also the mop sink behind the restroom. Nick called Collin and asked for approval to clean the branch line from the clean out next to the coolers. Collin approved the work and gave Nick authorization to sign. Nick cleaned the line through the clean out by the cooler and found at 65 feet the line opened up Nick ran 100 feet of the cable. The clog was paper towels. We will not guarantee against abuse or foreign objects going into the line. Everything is open and flowing Brian will sanitize the affected areas.

Spartan Plumbing will be installing a larger water softener along with a carbon filter. We got special pricing from our supplier for this unit, the cost for this unit is $1,500.00 in material cost. Spartan will cover $500.00 of the material cost and covering all labor cost to install this unit. This option is for covering the rest of the material cost of the unit. The warranty for this unit is at 5 years. The current unit installed for this home is functioning properly and softening the water to the home. Due to the amount of residents in the home and the size of the home, the current water softener is regenerating everyday. The down side to the unit regenerating everyday is the residents will have to refill the brine tank for the water softener with salt every week. Spartan recommends to upgrade the current water softener to a larger unit to keep the unit from regenerating everyday. 02/15/23 Technician Mike returned and replaced the existing softener/carbon duel unit with a larg

Braden and Kyle came out and looked at a no hot water issue and a failed sump pump that won’t turn off. We found that something had to of obstructed the float on the sump pump. This caused the motor to fail. We installed a new pump under warranty. The labor warranty on the pump is almost out. There is a lot of debris in the pit area. We will need to charge to clean this out or have it cleaned if anything further happens. We checked the water heater and all components now work well. We are not getting power to the unit currently. We possibly a faulty breaker that was loose in the panel box. We are getting no voltage to the water heater. We also found 3 public bathroom that had no temperature mixing valve. We recommend to install these for scald protection. Pastor Smith let us know that he would have to talk with the board on any father decisions.

Alex was called out due to a suspicion of a pipe leak in the upstairs bathroom, upon arrival it was found that the bathroom under the upstairs bathroom had water damage in the ceiling. Price was quoted out to cut into the drywall and was agreed-upon. Once cut into the drywall it was found that nothing was visibly leaking after 5 to 10 minutes of running the bathtub and sink upstairs. It was noticed that the bath tub waste and overflow was aged and could’ve been the culprit for the leak, but nothing was leaking at the time. A price was quoted out to Alan to replace the tub waste and overflow. When given pricing Alan decided to pass on work today and keep an eye on the hole in the drywall where the watermarks were to see if anything leaks in the coming days.

Braden came out to look at the low pressure issue. We found that replacing the well tank was going to be the best option going forward. Scott agreed and we installed a new well tank and brought the system up to code. We got the work done same day. Scott mow has a full 3 year warranty on his well system. Scott did change the filter himself. We cannot warranty that repair. - Install a new high quality 32 gallon pressure tank. - Relief valve for pressure safety. - Low point drain in order to properly drain the tank. - Remove the tank you have. - Set the tank up on blocks. 3 year warranty on our pressure tank install.

Braden and Kyle met Scott the homeowner at his property. We discussed a few things about his no water issue. Scott’s main focus was to just get water up and running. We found the pressure switch to have failed and the motor to have failed in the pump. We gave Scott many options to resolve his issue. While we were working we found that the well tank may be defective. Water Pressure is leaking into the tank. The tank may have a pinhole inside the bladder. When water is off and drained out, we are getting 60 psi in the tank overtime. This is a sign of a bladder tank with a pinhole. We are going to have to eventually replace this well tank. Scott said he would like to leave it for now. We sent him quotes on bettering his well system. We let Scott know it is best to replace the tank them add a relief valve with low point drain to properly service his well equipment. We let him know that the pressure tank having issues may affect his warranty on the pump we installed. Replace the pump you h

Braden and Kyle came out to resolve the no hot water issue. We met Hannah the home owner and we found she lived on the 2nd of a condo. The water heater is 8 years old and Hannah was really interested in seeing what was wrong with it. We found that the door switch on the burner assembly had tripped. We believe this is because of not enough make up air in the closet room. We recommend to have louvered doors installed on this closet. After diagnostic we talked to Hannah’s husband Ryan and we walked him though their options. They chose to do a standard cleaning on the water heater to get it up an running. After we were done we started talking about water quality. We are gong to recommend a magnetic conditioner for their home due to not having any room for a water softener. - Diagnosis for exactly is the cause of no heat for the water heater. - Does not included repairs. - Clean the air chamber of the water heater and vacuum all debris. - Cannot guarantee the repair. No warranty.

Call Back: Caame out to the Briggs residence, due to standing water in brine tank. To a recently installed water softener. After investigating problem, water level is normal, however salt level has reduced faster than normal. After running system through a short cycle, all functions appear to be functioning properly. Reason for dramatic salt usage is due to an undersized softening unit. Household has 4+ bathrooms and 8 residence. Would advise installing a 2 cubic ft softening unit. Julius will be contacting Heather either today or tomorrow (2/1/23) with solutions.
